  Family of three, living in a new house on a magical road between Raglan and Whale Bay. Just 3 mins to the Beach. Direct access to the bush and you can walk to the main beach on a lovely 25 min bushwalk.
  We work from home, online in the surf industry. Interests include Surfing, Fishing, Organic Gardening/Permaculture, Yoga, Pilates, Bush Walks. We are needing help with gardening and general house help with some deep cleaning ..but open to other help... You will have your own private, studio with ensuite.
  Please note that while we welcome all dietary preferences, we are meat eaters in our household so if this is not something you are comfortable with then our house may not be the right fit.

  This is a magical property with direct access to the nature reserve, and bush walks to the beach. Of course Raglan is well know for the surf scene, but there's also a thriving art community, yoga classes, epic coffee, markets and gatherings. We are a friendly family that love to chat and engage with others. We are now settled in Raglan after being nomadic for many years living in the Maldives, Micronesia, and Indonesia. We can share cultural information about many different countries and share how we lived as global citizens for many years in the surf industry. We love learning about new cultures and hope to learn more about the places our Workawayers come from.

  Arbeit

  Looking for help with organic gardens, establishing a permaculture food forest, freeing native trees from invasive climbers and helping with house tasks. Helpers need to be physically fit and enthusiastic to get among it! Depending on if its 1 person or a couple: duties would include, outdoor gardening, landscaping, general tidying up within the house. We work from home so will be home most of the time but the space where you will stay is downstairs from our main living area and is private with a private entrance, kettle, french press for coffee, small refrigerator and ensuite bathroom.
  
  The above help will only be requested for our personal home and surrounding gardens/property while we have Workawayers staying with us.

  Unterkunft

  Spacious room under main house, with kettle and BBQ. Private bathroom. Epic view.
  
  We will provide food and large accommodation with private bathroom in exchange for 20 hours a week of help per person if it is a couple. We request mornings until 8am are quiet time for our family by ourselves and we will provide tea, coffee and light breakfast in the Workawayers room. After 8am Workawayers can come share our upstairs space with us for the rest of the day.

  We have excellent wifi, but please note that we turn our wifi off for sleep from 9pm-6:30am. There is a desk to work from in the living space.
