We are developing an eco-tourism project in the Japanese Alps, and we are looking for outdoor enthusiasts to help us keep the project going. The project includes a ski lodge and a coffee shop in an area that offers multiple options for eco-tourism activities such as hiking, snowshoeing, ski and snowboard, cross country skiing, winter camping etc.
We provide accommodation on site in a small cabin and pay a minimum wage. A car can also be arranged.

Discover the lesser-known Japan of the mountains, which differs greatly from living in the big cities. The property is located at the base of the majestic Mount Daigenta in Echigo-Yuzawa, Niigata Prefecture, where the official summer sport is hiking and swimming in the mountain rivers. The hired candidate will have a lot of free time to ski or snowboard, when no snow needs to be removed or guests are not coming.

Accommodation is directly on the property in a smaller cabin used as the reception desk in the summer.
The area is also a famous snow resort and hot spring resort, offering skiing until mid-May and outdoors activities of all kinds. The town has its own Shinkansen station, providing access to Tokyo (75 minutes) and the rest of the JR network. It is also a 60 minutes drive or train ride to the Japan Sea coast.
