  We live in Fuchu City, Tokyo; close to Koremasa train station and Minami-Tama train station. We are 45min away by train to Shinjuku (downtown Tokyo).
  We are a family of three, my husband is Japanese and I’m Chinese. Our son is 7 years old and has started using simple English to communicate, he also speaks and understands basic Chinese. In order to expose our son to new and diverse cultures, we are looking for a lively and active Au Pair to live with us.
  I don't work, which means we will be together most of the time; and it’s very important to me that our Au Pair can become a part of our family and be comfortable with us.
  
  It will not be a problem if you do not understand or speak Japanese. Our requirement is that your mother tongue is English.

  We would like someone who loves children and dogs, and enjoys playing with them.
  If you are outgoing, it will be a very fulfilling experience for you as we love the outdoors and nature.
  
  We appreciate people who have self-initiative as work do vary depending on what’s needed. Being willing to try new challenges and tasks will be a big plus point for us. It will also be very helpful if you are good at Arts and Craft; and can always find new topics to chat about.

  We live in a small town in the Tokyo prefecture where there’re lots of restaurants and shops near our home; and plenty of parks which we often visit.
  
  No matter the weather, my son and I visit lots of parks, and we do enjoy climbing mountains and exploring the outdoors.
  We also like to visit our other houses located around Japan, at times inviting you, as well as Ron on our trips.
  
  We are an easygoing and multicultural family. As our son is still very young, you will play an important part in his growth in becoming a global citizen.
  As long as you are open-minded, flexible to changes and adaptable, we will definitely be able to give you the best opportunities to experience and enjoy a new culture.

  Arbeit

  Day to Day Schedule:
  - Come over to our house once you are ready in the morning.
  - Household chores (doing the dishes, laundry and light housekeeping).
  - Walk Ron, our dog for 1hr in the morning and another hour in the afternoon (he’s currently in training and we will appreciate your help with training him). *hence, we prefer someone who loves animals
  [Ron also goes to puppy daycare twice a week, so on those days he will not need to be walked as much, though you will need to send him to and fro daycare.]
  - Play and interact with my son (if he’s not home, you can help with whatever is needed at the time) [hopefully my son can learn English from you; you might also want to prepare some Craft or DIY projects as he’s interested in those and will open up more easily to you].
  
  *Each week you will have 2days off. We will discuss the off days in person.
  
  *Basic allowance will be given.

  Unterkunft

  Our family lives on the 3rd floor of an apartment building, and our Au Pair will stay in an apartment of their own on the 2nd floor. This means we are very close to each another but you will be allowed plenty of privacy when you rest.
  
  Au Pair Apartment Details:
  2 bedrooms apartment, so you will have your own personal space. There is a shower room, a separate toilet, living room, kitchen, television and washing machine. There is also wifi.
  Amenities such as general cooking utensils, condiments, bed sheets (tatami style) and towels will be provided.
  There is also a big balcony where you can hang your own laundry.
