  We are looking for who can start from 2025 April～for play and teach my son English.
  
  We prefer females only. Thank you for your understanding.
  
  We live in Fuchu, Tokyo; near Kore-Masa and Minami-Tama train stations. It takes 45 minutes to get to Shinjuku (central Tokyo) by train.
  
  We are a family of three, my husband is Japanese, and I am Chinese. Our son is 7 years old. His mother tongue is Japanese; however, he can converse in basic English and Chinese. To expose our son to new and diverse cultures, we are looking for a lively and active Au Pair to stay with us.
  
  I am a housewife, which means we will spend time together most of the time; To me, it is very important that our Au Pair can become part of our family and get along well with us. We are looking for someone who is able to integrate into our family and be a part of it.
  
  If you don't understand or don’t speak Japanese, it's not a problem. Our requirement is that your native language has to be English.

  We prefer someone who likes to play with older boys. If you like children and enjoy spending time with them, then my son will likely enjoy your company. We’re looking for someone who is adaptable, optimistic, outgoing, and always able to find new topics to talk to my son. If you love talking, it would be even perfect.
  
  Our education method is treating my son as an independent individual or a grown up; rather than taking care of him like a baby (his daily life is basically solved by himself). We appreciate people who are proactive, and always take the initiative to do things as the work will vary according to the needs. Willing to try new challenges and tasks is also a big plus for us. This will be a very fulfilling experience for you.
  
  We love outdoors and nature, especially during holidays and weekends, we spend most of our time at outdoors.
  
  We don't value much on your academic qualifications and diplomas. What we value more is your imagination and your proactive by able to find new and interesting topics to chat with my son at anytime anywhere.
  
  We don't provide any English materials or books for you to teach our son. We prefer the learning English process come from daily communication between you and my son. If you never have any Au Pair experience because of your age, it's fine, as long as you can quickly integrate into our family, proactive, willing to try new things, and have fun with my son. In order to make sure you have read the details of our requirements, please mention in the title: “Hello, Marumi” before you send us a message.
  
  There are some moments where my son is very focused on doing something. It would be nice if you are observant enough to notice it and able to use your own approach as well as finding the best moment to engage a conversation with him.
  
  But if you are introverted, lack of imagination, and are not good at finding new topics, you will not be considered by us.

  We live in a small town in Tokyo, and there are lots of restaurants and shops near our home;
  
  There are also many parks that we visit frequently. My son and I visit many parks no matter how is the weather. We love exploring the outdoors. There is a stream near our home, and we also often go to the river during our free time.
  
  We also love to visit our other houses throughout Japan, and sometimes we’ll invite you to travel with us. We are an easy-going multicultural family.
  
  Since our son is still very young, you will play an important role in his growth, helping to shape him into a better person.
  
  As long as you are open-minded, flexible to change, and adaptable, we will definitely give you the opportunity to experience a lot of new things and enjoy new cultures.

  Arbeit

  Daily schedule:
  
  - Come to our house after getting ready in the morning.
  - Do housework (washing dishes, laundry and simple housework).
  - Play and interact with my son in the afternoon (if he is not at home, you can always help with anything needed) I want my son to learn English from you; You can play as much as you want at home or take him outdoors, you can also prepare some simple magic tricks or fun interactive games to do with him. He is also interested in anything that needs to be assembled, like DIY. My son has a great imagination. We have a variety of colorful Legos in the house, and he often enjoys playing with them. He is really good at constructing various creations with different colour of Legos. We hope that you can join him in his full of imagination world, spark conversations with him to nurture his imagination further. This is why we are looking for someone who are talkative and full of imagination. In this way, he will also be more open up to you easily.
  
  *You will have 1 day off per week (sometimes more) We will discuss the rest day in person.

  Unterkunft

  Our family lives on the 3rd floor of an apartment building, and our Au Pair will stay in an apartment of their own on the 2nd floor. This means we are very close to each other but you will also have plenty of privacy when you rest.
  
  Au Pair Apartment Details:
  2 bedrooms apartment, so you will have your own personal space. There is a shower room, a separate toilet, living room, kitchen, television and washing machine. There is also wifi.
  
  Amenities such as general cooking utensils, condiments, bed sheets (tatami style) and towels will be provided.
  
  There is also a big balcony where you can hang your own laundry.
