This is a hub, for exploring all the modern ways to use bamboo and creative upcycling. Emphasis on zero waste lifestyles, wether at home or on the road. Currently developing a series of bamboo games and interactive challenges for all ages, that will bring an empathetic community together at our digital detox playground. The ultimate goal is to inspire enough innovations and invite visitors to play and see the LOHAS life as easy and fun for all... This is based on a sacred commerce model that rewards we over me.

DIY and life hacks! Cradle to Cradle resourcefulness. Kaizen mindfulness of improving yourself and your surroundings.
We are creating a real-life example of best practices for balanced self sufficient living.
Minimal resources turned into abundance...
A generosity of spirit is required alongside a curiosity and appetite to learn and grow. A certain joy in serving others is welcome. Desire to help and share should be your default setting. You must care for yourself first to care for others and the earth. Develop the competence to look, learn and practice new skills daily. Be a proactive and vocal team player in offering help and ideas before needed.
Be frugal with daily commodities. Avoid all single use plastic purchases and learn a zero waste lifestyle. Where something can be made ourselves, we avoid buying, especially natural cleaning products for house and body.
We are building, in bamboo, a digital-detox playground for inner kids of all ages. We practice mindful usage of devices and smartphones. With bans on screens during work and meal times. We will establish time banking systems to motivate flexibility and delegate to all equally.
Develop a daily flow and life rhythm that starts with making one’s own bed and feeling the buzz of achievements throughout the day.
Project based work, to completion, individually or as a team is expected. Learning a new craft and bettering your skill sets is the personal reward.
To give the group the best experience we are currently taking maximum 2 people at a time, who will stay a maximum of 2 weeks. Anyone who is accepted to join this community will undergo a trial period of 3 days to see if it is a good fit.
We would prefer to have vegan volunteers as it will be easier for us to choose.
We emphasise healthy food prep such as organic gardening, sprouting, fermenting, dehydrating, steaming, stir fry and baking. And welcome all new ideas around the joys of plant based living.
Also would like volunteers to be conscious about their consumption and responsible for their own plastics, bottles and trash because there is no proper recycling systems in Thailand.
Repurposing is our daily goal. .
Minimum 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. Cumulative or consecutive. Time spent cooking and cleaning and daily maintenance chores are not included in the work hours. We will also volunteer time with local charity projects and even swap work with other Workaway locations nearby.
Please only apply if you are ready to live a simple and healthy lifestyle in a small community. We are looking for people who want to live in an intentional way with the earth, and are open minded to new ideas.
We reserve the right to cancel any workaway agreement immediately, at our discretion. If we think someone is not contributing or respecting the project or its hosts or guests, you may be asked to leave gracefully. Joy and flexibility for all.
