  Beschreibung

  We're a couple near lake Geneva, moving to a new house with a garden. Welcoming workawayers to help during and after the move. Tasks will include moving furniture and boxes, building/assembling furniture, setting up and maintaining the garden and vegetable garden, setting up an automated watering system, and more...
  
  Please note that this is a homestay. We are selective about our workawayers, as you will share our home and daily life for the duration of your stay. Also for this reason, we aim to host workawayers for at most three weeks at a time.

  We are moving to a location which is perfect both to reach the banks of lake Geneva, or the surrounding nature (fields, forest, hills). Daily life can involve language exchange (English, French, German), culinary exchange (cooking, baking, preserving, ...) - while we tend to cook quite an international range of dishes, we’ll be glad to prepare at least one typically Swiss dish during your stay, and would appreciate if you would also cook a traditional dish of your own... once we have equipped the kitchen ;-)

  At home we usually speak French together. We switch to English when we have workawayers, but if you’re interested in a French language exchange, let us know. We're working on our Italian and Greek, respectively.

  Unterkunft

  You will have a private room, with a double bed. The bathroom, kitchen and other common areas are shared but you'll be free to use them comfortably and respectfully. We can host two workawayers if you’re a couple staying in the same room.

  We do not have a separate office available, but once the furniture is moved in, you would be able to set yourself up in your room (with a small desk and lamp) or in the common areas of the house (living/dining room, terrace) with a laptop and are free to work remotely. We both work from home, so it’s important for us to know beforehand if you will be using internet a lot for video calls and so on.
