Beschreibung
I am a 50 year old Bulgarian, residing currently in the coutryside but having lived for 20 years abroad prior to that. I like the peace and quiet of the village but I don't stay still, and have 300 things going on, which is why I've come to the realisation that I need help with the things that somehow get de-prioritized around the house and yard.
You're welcome to stay from couple of days to a week.
If you are a female workawayer, travelling around the Balkans and passing through northwest Bulgaria on your way to/from Serbia and Romania, maybe this opportunity will interest you.Arten von Hilfe und Lernmöglichkeiten

Village life here is an anthropological study in itself. I have enough stories to tell, and some interesting people to show you. But the most fascinating aspect is that even if the village looks like a time-pocket of 1920s, life for females has changes so much over the last 100 years- both for the elderly females in their 70s still living here, and the young ones visiting. I love thinking and talking about it, and hopefully we can have some good conversations about it, or you can explore feminism in a new light.
Also, Bulgarian food is quite yummy. If you like making jams and preserves, we can do that. Or if you like to see/experience where the food comes from, we'll go see the chickens or goats of some of the fellow villagers- or make feta cheese from scratch.Projekte mit Kindern

Arbeit
I'm mostly in need of de-cluttering help and clutter control but also some cooking, if you can cook- mostly as a diversity/cultural exchange. Also some basic cleaning (there is a lot of dust or mud on the village roads, which are not paved/asphalted). Please, do not apply if you like minimalism, are slightly OCD when it comes to cleaning or like to have things in order. This is not for you. You have to be able to leave things unfinished or half-done, or stand to see them moved/out of place the next day. I would imagine, a better fit as a guest would be someone who does weekend-cleaning at their own place, rather than someone who cleans obsessively every day (no offense).
Also, if you are a first-time workawayer or have "first-World problems", consider well whether the Bulgarian countryside is the right place to start. If you hate capitalism, are religious/spiritual and have judgemental opinions about other people, ethnicities, etc- and can keep it all to yourself, you're welcome. If you feel the need to talk about it, I'm not the right listener (but if you don't mind being challenged, you're also welcome).Gesprochene Sprachen

Depending on the period, you can stay in our house or in a separate one. There is plenty of room and space, so we'll coordinate and align expectation before you come.
You'll have access to internet and streaming subscriptions, and books.
We'll eat together - or with other villagers, tourists or workawayers. Was noch ...
There is a bus line to Vidin but I also drive to there very often. Vidin is the place for shopping, coffee or museums. Vrav is much, much different (think - different era-different)
You can sunbathe, sleep, relax or stream in your spare time in the village.Etwas mehr Information
