  < UPDATE: Looking for someone or someones to house sit for me for 3 weeks from the 10th of Feb to around the 5th of March, ideally with a car or van or their own. Responsibilities would include feeding the dog, cat and hens and doing a few little odd tasks in the garden such as watering and keeping the snails at bay. In return you would get to enjoy a beautiful house with a great big garden, and eat as many avocados and oranges as you like. The house is located in a nice friendly village, 10 minutes drive to the beach. Lots of surfing, climbing and walking to be had nearby. >
  
  
  Hello! I'm Gaby. I live in a hand built wooden house in a pretty village at the foot of the medieval white hilltop town of Vejer. On the land I have various fruit trees including avocados, oranges, lemons, mangos, chirimoyas, guabas, feijoas, pomegranates... a little vegetable garden, lots of flower beds, 10 old hens, a daft dog and a cuddly cat. I usually spend mornings in the garden and afternoons working on my art.

  I can offer guests a taste of life in southern Spain: gazpacho, siestas and cañas. There are many things to see and do near by: beautiful beaches to swim at, pretty towns to explore, nice hikes to go on... We can talk in either English or Spanish and hopefully cook together. I have a bike, an inflatable canoe and a surf board you can borrow.

  I'm generally looking for people to help in the garden and around the land. Specific tasks might include: planting, watering, weeding, strimming, pruning, clearing, digging... There's always something to do, plants don't seem to want to stop growing!

  There are also always plenty of handy jobs.
  
  Everyone is welcome, but people with gardening and/or carpentry skills are particularly welcome :)
  
  I've learnt I'm not so good at being too on top of people, so self-reliant and motivated folk are much appreciated.

  Unterkunft

  You can stay in your own little house with its own kitchen, bathroom and a cosy bed nestled in the tree tops. So long as I'm home, I thought we could share breakfast lunch and dinner as well as many cups of tea.

  Was noch ...

  Public transport around here is a bit lousy, but if you don't come in your own vehicle I can of course pick you up from wherever and do my best to take you to the places you would like to go to. I also have a bike you can borrow and if you are over 25 maybe I can lend you my car from time to time.
  
  I keep myself busy, but will do my best to include you in as much of my social life as you might be interested in. This could include dancing, climbing, hiking, or just going for a drink.
