  Hi there! PLEASE NO AI RESPONSES. We want to know more about you personally so we can trust you in our homes.
  
  We are an Aussie couple – Nellie and Byron - originally from Australia and now living in Hakuba. We own a few properties and throughout the year, we welcome hard-working, easy-going people to help out with a mix of tasks depending on the season.
  
  Summer Opportunities (September and October 2026)

  NO WINTER AVAILABILITY - PLEASE NO REQUESTS
  
  WHERE YOU WILL SLEEP: We have a 3 bedroom holiday home with full kitchen , bathroom, living space etc. so it will ideally suit a couple or group of people who are willing to house share. We are willing to accept multiple groups at the same time, so you could be share housing with your own private room, and have to be comfortable with this if groups come and go at different times.
  
  WE NEED HELP WITH:
  
  - Cleaning
  - Gardening and outdoor clean-up
  - DIY handyman tasks
  - Photography
  - Furniture set-up
  - Painting preparation + painting
  
  If you are handy, and can offer any skills along these guidelines we wish to hear from you. We are mostly looking for people who will be able to help in a variety of areas. Biggest needs are cleaning, assisting with handy tasks, gardening - must know how to use lawn mower and weed whacker.
  
  WHAT WE OFFER / EXPECT
  - Free accommodation in our holiday home around the corner from our place
  - Private room
  - Free use of bikes, SUP boards, and any outdoor gear we’ve got around
  - Walking distance to Happo-One Resort, rivers for swimming if you’re into hiking or just want some mountain time
  - Lunch provided on the days you help us
  - Help 3-4 days a week with around 5-6 hours a day, 3 or 4 days off
  - Flexible schedule and choose tasks based around weather
  
  PLEASE NOTE:
  - As you will be living separately from us, food is your own expense outside the lunch we provide when helping. 7/11 is at the end of our street and supermarket a 15 minutes walk.
