HI, this is Jonathan. I'm running a large villa in northern part of Lanzarote, with gorgeous ocean views from the front of the house.
We are currently working on renovating and refreshing of the house and surrounding area. -

We're located 10 mins drive away from the ocean and short drive to the one of the best surfing beaches in the world - Famara.
Tinajo and La Santa villages are 3 minutes drive away, where you can find a local supermarket, bakery, pub and restaurants.
By staying in Calderetas you will learn about general maintenance, DIY, gardening and much more! -
Arbeit
We have different projects that will be varied, and experience in house maintenance, DIY, painting, some gardening. You will stay in a private room and share kitchen and bathroom.
Your free time is your own to do as you please,
You will help with general housekeeping and maintenance tasks for the villa or setting up a garden for 4 hrs a day, 5 days a week. It could be less. No serious or heavy duty construction (we hire professionals for this). -

Unterkunft
You will be accommodated with a private room, bathroom and kitchen, which is fully equipped for you to prepare your own meals. We will work in the morning to early afternoon and the rest of your is for you to discover the island, surf and enjoy the beauty of Lanzarote :)
Since the house is located in the rural part of the island Check the location on google maps, the flights and the car hire.
You will NEED TO RENT A CAR to get around. We do not confirm volunteers until we receive your flight and car hire booking confirmations. This is to ensure you have the best experience in Lanzarote.
Due to car sharing and logistics, we prefer COUPLES or 2 FRIENDS travelling together.
We have surfboards you can borrow. -

We prefer working on the house in the morning 0900-1300 Monday-Friday, the rest of the time is yours. We have very fast Internet for studying or remote work outside of the volunteering schedule.
