Our English Camp is set in beautiful Tawangmangu - Central Java, surrounded by lush landscapes and a strong sense of Javanese tradition. This isn’t just any English program – it’s a journey where you’ll help students and locals gain confidence in English, all while becoming a part of our community and daily life.

  When you volunteer with us you’re not just joining an English Camp – you’re stepping into the heart of Javanese culture in beautiful Tawangmangu. Imagine waking up each day to breathtaking mountain views, with the soft morning mist over the valleys and rice fields around you. Here, you’ll be living among the villagers, where life follows a gentle rhythm that invites you to slow down and savor every moment.
  
  Throughout your stay, you’ll share delicious home-cooked meals, sampling authentic Javanese dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. Each meal is a chance to experience our warm hospitality, enjoy traditional flavors, and maybe even learn a recipe or two! Beyond food, you’ll find yourself immersed in local customs, from traditional music and dance to simple, meaningful community traditions.
  
  Your days will be filled with a balance of teaching, cultural exchange, and local exploration. Outside of camp activities, you can join us for community events, visit local markets, and even try your hand at learning Javanese phrases. Living and working alongside us, you’ll experience Indonesia’s educational culture firsthand and see how language bridges worlds.

  Arbeit

  As a volunteer you’ll be an essential part of our English Camp experience! Each day, you’ll work closely with our English mentors, helping them run engaging classes and activities from 1PM to 6PM. Your role will involve guiding students through exercises, organizing interactive sessions, and joining in on fun language games – all designed to boost their confidence in English.
  
  You'll assist with everything from setting up the classrooms to leading small group discussions, encouraging students to practice speaking, and helping create a lively, supportive environment. Outside of class, you’ll also have the chance to join in our cultural activities, where students and volunteers can connect over traditional Javanese arts, games, and excursions around the stunning Tawangmangu area.
  
  This hands-on experience will give you a unique look into Indonesia’s education and cultural landscape, all while making lasting memories with students and fellow volunteers. We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, flexible, and ready to jump in with both feet to help make this camp unforgettable for everyone involved!
