  Hi, I'm Pax! I live with my family in Casa Paxita in the beautiful mountains of Santa Rosa, a rural area, 20 minutes away from the fun City Perez Zeledon. I own a small finca with many trees, plants, herbs, flowers etc. that I could use some help with. I also would like to build out my design of walkways, water streams, swales, fences, dog runs and more. I am renovating a cabin that I would like to use for retreats. Then, for those that love dogs, I have 3 cuddle bugs that would loooooove your attention and invite you to play with them. I am an artist but would also like to see someone paint my gates with beautiful flowers. I am a very good cook and would make sure you're comfortable. I live on a beautiful dirt road next to a river where you can dip anytime in private. No need to go to the beach. The bus to town is a 10 minute walk . The views are amazing. Lots of birds, butterflies and Pura vida. My husband and I like conversations and a glass of wine.

  I am from Belgium and my husband from the US. He likes intellectual conversations about anything, he also likes to teach boxing. If you want to go for a hike or a bike ride, he's your friend!
  I can teach you how to make raw/vegan dishes or dishes from anywhere in the world. I can also teach you how to give a full body massage after having a large Wellness Center in the US for many years. You would just practice on me 😁. That's how I taught my husband, and he is good. You will also meet our friends from all over the world as we do a potluck once a month and you get to enjoy different foods from different cultures.
  I hope to also learn lots of new things from you!

  Arbeit

  Natural construction like fences, greenhouses, fire pits. Painting of the fencing wall, wood for the gates, outside of the house, and the window bars. Gardening is mostly pruning, weeding, harvesting, some fruit like mangos cutting up and bagging, raking cut grass, take care of the compost, make sure all plants had water, plant new seedlings, etc, cooking because I know some people just love cooking, like me, but sometimes it's nice to sit back and let someone else show their specialty off. Dog play, Skyy and Target, 2 pitties that I brought with me and Buddy a beautiful German Shepherd that I rescued are my children. We recently rescued another pup that walked into the driveway, starved, exhausted and in need of help. Bootsy is a beautiful American Hound dog. Very sweet, playful pup. I think we're gonna keep him 😉. So, now we have 4. They love to play,get trained with new tricks and get lots of love which you will get back from them tenfold.

  Unterkunft

  We have a tent, a cabin and a large garage with beautiful bared windows. 2 beds will be available and hopefully by that time we have a kitchen and bathroom in it. If not, those might be projects. We are building an outside shower and a wood stove/grill would be available. We will offer 3 meals a day and filtered water, tea and coffee.

  Was noch ...

  Lots to do in the City. Easy bus ride and from there a bus can be taken to the beach, to the Butterfly dome, to the hot springs, restaurants, stores, ferias. The feria in San Isidro is on Wednesdays and Thursdays but there are ferias in every town. We do ask to be back home before 10 as tico families, which we are surrounded with go to bed early and go to work early. We also have a private driver that can take you to town for little money.
