I have spent some wonderful days at Blai’s farm. When I left I was so happy I got to experience living in there even though I could only stay for a week. The house is big but super cosy. I loved waking up and being greeted by all the dogs and cats, they are pure love. Blai is a great host, he cooks amazingly and I had the best tomato toasts of my
… read more life. I returned home wanting to eat more food “from the ground” and less supermarket processed things. I felt super comfortable talking about anything with Blai. (I eat very slowly so we would have looong talks during lunch and dinner :) I could also try some things for the first time such as digging holes and I could connect with the horses as well (was not so used to being around them) ... I could learn a lot. Blai is so skillful and has an amazing mindset that also helped me with my own self. We would always communicate in Spanish and with that, he helped me improving my verb tenses errors. I hope I’ll be able to go back very soon!! Beatriz was always ready to give a hand and always caring a lot about cleaning the house, kitchen and some other little jobs around, also very good hand taking care of the animals and helping out organizing other workawayers that arrived the day before of her departure. It's nice to see how a short term stay can end up with a nice friendship that I wish will last with the time. Thank you for your help and support Beatriz, we will miss you.

There's plenty work to be done from building to gardening to general tasks involved with living in this way. If you have considered off - grid living, this would be the perfect place to get a small taste.

It's incredibly fulfilling to contribute to Blai's vision of creating a like-minded community dedicated to animal care and the preservation of untouched nature across 100 hectares of land.
Blai's excellent mentorship ensures that you align your skills and interests with the tasks at hand. As a Renewable Energy enthusiast, I was thrilled that Blai enthusiastically provided a detailed explanation of his off-grid paradise, powered solely by solar PV systems. This deepened my connection with the place and its surroundings.
The working hours are flexible, and Blai's humour and support create a lively and enjoyable working environment. He is a true jack-of-all-trades, sharing expertise and knowledge in a wide variety of fields, from carpentry to electronics, from medicine to cooking, from sailing to archery. Conversations with him are both entertaining and enlightening.
Spending time with his family was a genuine cultural exchange for me. Cooking and feasting together on Indian and Spanish delicacies, and sharing endless stories, are moments I will always treasure. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to be part of his project again in the future.

What a nice place to stay ! I've spent 3 beautiful weeks in Blai's house and farm. It was so amazing, I felt like home. During 3 weeks we have been doing eco-construction with mud/clay/straw, taking care of horses, animals, gardening... During the day, we do what need to be done . We can ask any question to Blai during the work, he answers as much as he can and he's always welcoming new ideas.
The animals are also really kind, I love them so much ( especially Peter <3, but I love others too).
The place is very calm, inside a forest remote from cities and roads. We have been playing chess, doing archery, watching the stars, discuss a lot about everything.
This is the place to go if you want to learn things and have a cultural exchange, be with animals, eat well, and also have a lot of time for yourself.
I would 100% came back.

The propertly is very beautiful, it's quite isolated in the mountains so it's very peaceful. Plenty of exploring to do around, as well spending time relaxing in the hammock or having a bath in the river. There's lots of work to do, on the house, in the garden, helping with animals and construction, I think there is a project to suit anybody, as long as you're happy to try new things and give it a go!
Thank you Blai for teaching me about bio-construction and giving me the chance to wind down and experience the peaceful mountain life, even just for a little while, I have many happy memories and hope to visit again one day!!
