Help welcome around my garden in Okato. New Zealand

  Okato is a small village about 30km south of New Plymouth. I am reaching out for help around the garden, mowing lawns, pruning mulching and general property maintenance.
  Okato feels like country living. There is a community feel about the area, and often the neighbors horses lean over the fence to say hullo, and my two cats enjoy playing alongside anyone in the garden. . it is a drive to almost everywhere though, and your own transport really is necessary. The coast is maybe ten mins, and although you can see the mountain from where I live, it is still a 30 min drive.

  My cottage offers a small but comfortable room in my house, a home cooked meal each evening, and food to make your breakfast and lunch. It is a great place to be to explore Taranaki region enjoy hikes, surf or there is a surf school in oakura.
  I enjoy meeting helpers and sharing travel stories.

  Arbeit

  I am reaching out for help and support keeping the property well maintained. There is always a hedge to prune, gardens to weed, fruit trees to prune and lawns to mow. It is not a huge property, but it does seem to need constant attention. I work in New Plymouth , some days I am around to help but often you can work to your own schedule.

  The room is in my home, has a double bed it is small but warm and comfortable. There is a home cooked meal each evening and plenty to help yourself to for lunch and breakfast.

  Taranaki is a wonderland to explore - with vast coast line and renowned surf breaks. There are many walking and hiking tracks close by, New Plymouth is a small city close to the coast, that supports the arts, there are galleries to explore, breweries and very good dining out options. Lots of parks and public gardens.
  Public transport is not well supported in the region, and Okato would feel a little isolated without your own vehicle.
