Escape the rush and enjoy a peaceful lifestyle.
My property is set in a beautiful nature where you’ll wake up to fresh air, birdsong, and open space. It’s a perfect spot to slow down and recharge.
Share the space with friendly Native and pet animals and make yourself feel right at home.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys nature, appreciates a calm environment, and is happy to be part of a friendly, easy-going home in Whangarei, Northland, New Zealand.

✅ What I can offer:
- A place to stay in a peaceful and beautiful lifestyle block - a hobby farm with friendly animals
- Private room and private bathroom
- Opportunity to help with animals - Alpacas, pet sheep, pet ducks, dogs and more
- Learn how to make homemade Middle Eastern food and share meals
-Long-term stay available, depending on the number of jobs I have.

🏠 Depending on the number of jobs I have and the time of the year, I can offer :
Option 1 🏡 🍔
Full board, food and private accommodation in return for 5 hours of help per day
Option 2 🏡
3 hours of help per day in return for accommodation only and shared dinner.
You are welcome to bring your own food for breakfast and lunch.
(This is my most popular choice as it gives helpers lots of time off to explore and enjoy)
Option 3 🚐
1.5 hours of help per day in return for a sheltered and secure power site for your campervan with a private bathroom and shared dinner.

The place is very peaceful with native trees around, two streams running through the property and two large ponds with waterfalls, ducks, eels, frogs, fish and other water birds.
You will learn how to live in harmony with wild and domestic animals, how to recycle water, waste, food and plants for the benefit of your land, and how to create an environment that can provide food and shelter for yourself and for all living creatures around you. -
Arbeit
Help is needed mainly with animal care - feeding and exercising, landscaping, care of trees and other plants, spreading organic fertiliser, seasonal help with the alpacas and cleaning and tidying tasks in the house and on the property.

The place is just a short drive from beautiful bays and beaches, plenty of DOC walks and some secret spots I can show you. I am a keen mountain biker and can take you and your bike to the best trails around.
