  Beschreibung

  For those looking for greater contact with nature and a change of perspective on our relationship with the environment, we are looking for volunteers for our center. Knowledge of agriculture and gardening or permaculture is required.
  
  The basic premise is simple: You work a few hours a week and, in return, receive bed and breakfast
  
  If you have some special skills in permaculture gardening, natural building techniques , carpentry/wooden constructions, it would be perfect. And if you like cooking, teaching yoga that's fine too. In fact, there are a lot of things to do here if you are really willing to work seriously and help develop the place. We would be very happy with your help!
  
  Some examples of what you can help with in our center:
  - Installation of irrigation system
  - Construction of several pergolas (wooden)
  - Pruning orange trees/ olive trees/ kiwi/ strawberries , etc
  - Start a small organic garden (permaculture)
  - Build light constructions (a small swimming pool, an outdoor shower, …)
  - Construction of stone walls
  And of course the normal things, like cooking, cleaning the house,…
  We would define together the work that you can and want to do, it is useless to ask for tasks that you don't like or are not comfortable with.
  
  WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER:
  Accommodation for at least 2 weeks as long as it is comfortable for both of you
  We generally work 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, and have free weekends.
  You will stay in a single bed in a large house, you can use the Wi-Fi, and there is a bathroom with hot water. The kitchen is at your disposal too.

  The community around the farm is small and extremely hospitable, as such the volunteers will have the opportunity to experience Portuguese culture and take part in the activities of the community.
  
  In free time volunteers can go to the nearest town , Castro Daire, to enjoy the beauty and take some time to socialize.
  
  In our project we also provide to our volunteers the opportunity of Yoga classes, learning meditation, and healing sessions to balance after their cooperation and work !

  We can provide your dinner and breakfast and you can use our kitchen and fridge to prepare your own lunch, in case that you choose to work 25 hours a week (4-5 hours, 5 days a week). If you plan to just work 15 hours a week , we only provide you access to our kitchen and fridge so you can prepare your own meals !
