  Hey Travellers,
  
  We are a family of three, from New Zealand who are running a small snow lodge in Madarao Japan. Our property is our lifelong dream come true it is something which we have worked hard to achieve and have put a lot of love into. We are very passionate about what we do and the amazing country that we get to do it in.
  
  If you are snow lovers looking to do a winter in Japan who want to embrace the culture, the lifestyle and the amazing food, and looking for some fantastic cultural experiences to do when your not slaying the powder or working hard, then we have some amazing iconic tourist spots on our doorstep. From the infamous snow monkeys which are a 45 minute drive away to Nozawa Onsen and ancient Ninja Temples there are plenty of fabulous cultural activities for you to do in our surrounding areas. Even a trip to the local shops is an eye opening experience. Or if you fancy checking out as many ski fields as possible on your days off then we are well positioned with Myoko Kogen to one side Nozawa Onsen, Togari and Shiga Kogen just to name a few all with exceptional Japan Pow.
  
  We are Looking for two great peeps, either a couple or good mates, with working holiday visa's who would like to work for the whole winter season from the 10th of December to the 10th of March . We will provide you with your own private studio apartment that is ski in and ski out lodgings only a short walk from our lodge. So you can get the most riding in as possible in your free time. We also cover your season passes and provide a wage but you have your own kitchen so you will take care of your own groceries and meals.
  
  What we offer is pretty amazing so we do expect a lot in return. Honesty and Kindness are the two qualities we value the most, if you can match those with a strong work ethic the ability to show up on time, work your shift to the highest standard and do it with a smile then we want to hear from you.
  
  Hospitality backgrounds and customer service experience or similar greatly valued. The work will involve a lot of cleaning so you need to be good with housekeeping, this is toilets, showers and other people rubbish, so if you gag at that idea then you don't want this job.
  
  And last but not least we have a 9 year old son who is as big as life so you absolutely have to be good with kids.

  We are New Zealanders so we speak English, Japanese is a very hard language to learn but we can teach you some very useful phrases enough to get by and show the Japanese people that you are trying, they greatly value your attempts.
  
  We also have guests stay with us from all over the world so there are a great many different languages that come through our property, you can mingle and chat with all who are welcoming.
  
  You will also be living in deep snow conditions so you will learn a lot about driving in the snow, not to mention skiing or snowboarding.
  
  The local region is famous for it's Sake we can teach you what we know and there are tours at the local breweries if that is something your interested in.

  The closest town to us is Iiyama which is 20 minutes away and the nearest large city is Nagano which is approx 45 minutes. Tokyo is 1 hour and 40 minutes on the bullet train.
