Beschreibung
We have ten acres of land in an abandoned Newfoundland community. Awesome oceanfront scenery. The Burnt Head Retreat consists of a main cabin, a guest cabin, a pasture, and a campsite with Labrador-style canvas tents. We are serious about ecology. Much of what we do concerns re-learning the old ways which are desperately needed for living a more environmentally just life. We are always building something. A small flock of sheep need tending. Cod-fishing in our small open boat, and foraging (loads of berries and mushrooms) are also on the agenda.
