Welcome to the Hostel – your volunteering haven in the heart of Amman!
We are Yulia and Firas, managing the hostel. We're not just a place to stay; we're a vibrant community seeking enthusiastic volunteers who want to be part of our mission to create a welcoming and memorable experience for travelers from around the world. Our hostel is not just a destination; it's an opportunity to contribute and learn while exploring the rich culture, history, and beauty of Jordan.
Volunteer Opportunities:
We offer a wide range of volunteering opportunities, so you can make a meaningful impact while enjoying your stay. Whether you're passionate about housekeeping, have an artistic flair for mural painting, creating events, or possess skills in photography/videography or programming, we welcome you to share your talents with us. We believe in the power of collaboration and the unique skills that each volunteer brings.

After a day of volunteering or sightseeing, you can unwind in our comfortable common areas and relax on our rooftop terrace while taking in the stunning city views.
We understand the importance of staying connected, which is why we offer high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hostel. Our helpful and multilingual staff are always here to provide you with the support you need, whether it's travel advice, recommendations, or assistance with your volunteer tasks.

We will offer you a bed in our comfortable dorm. Everything in our hostel is clean and new. Enjoy our high-speed wifi and fully equipped kitchen. Free use of laundry. You will be able to meet people from all around the world during your stay. Located in the center of Amman, we are surrounded by Amman's local life and culture, and all historical buildings are within walking distance. This is truly a great spot to learn and experience true Jordanian culture.
There are also Arabic language and cultural gathering events and Middle Eastern cooking. -

Marzooq
Meet Mrzooq, the chillest turtle in the hostel and unofficial master of relaxation. With his slow and steady pace, he’s the epitome of taking life easy — no rush, no worries, just plenty of naps and snack breaks. Mrzooq has a knack for turning any space into his personal lounge, often leaving a trail of calm and zen wherever he goes. If you’re feeling stressed, just sit next to him for a few minutes — his peaceful vibe might just rub off on you! Remember, patience is key when dealing with Mrzooq; he’s got all the time in the world, and he’s not in a hurry to leave his comfy shell. He’s the hostel’s wise old turtle, reminding everyone that sometimes, the best things in life are slow and steady!
LaLa (7 Jahren)
Meet LaLa, the true boss of the hostel — the feline CEO who rules with an iron paw. She’s the ultimate remote worker, always busy “working” from her favorite spot, whether it’s on a windowsill, a pile of laundry, or right in the middle of the hallway. If you’re lucky enough to stumble upon her during her “visits,” consider yourself extremely fortunate — chances are she’s too busy managing her empire to come say hi! But if you do meet LaLa, don’t forget to ask her for a sign; it’s the best souvenir you can get from the real owner of the hostel. Just be prepared: she’s got the boss attitude and the charm to match, and she’s always working — even if it looks like she’s just napping!
Abu Laban (1 Jahr)
Meet Abu Laban, the yogurt-loving hostel cat whose name is inspired by his legendary appetite — “Laban” in Arabic, after his obsession with yogurt. This clever kitty is a master of hiding, so good at staying out of sight that you’d think he’s part of the furniture… until it’s snack time. When the smell of yogurt hits the air, Abu Laban emerges from his secret hideout like a foodie ninja, ready to claim his spot at the food bowl. He’s a fan of privacy and prefers to keep his adventures on the down-low, making him a bit of a mystery cat — you might not see him all day, but if there’s yogurt involved, he’s definitely nearby!
Zezo (1 Jahr)
Meet Zezo, the most playful and social hostel cat you’ll ever see — unless you try to touch him, then he’s an expert at giving you the cold shoulder. This little guy loves to be the center of attention, chasing toys and making friends, but don’t even think about picking him up! Zezo’s favorite thing? Sleeping on his back in the weirdest places possible — whether it’s on a pile of laundry, a chair, or right in the middle of the hallway. He’s the king of lounging in odd spots and the master of playful mischief. Just remember, if you want to pet him, be nice and patient — but don’t hold your breath. Zezo’s got a personality that’s as quirky as his choice of nap spots!
Pauli
Meet Pauli, the smart and quiet hostel cat who’s always posted up at the main door. Yep, she works the night shift as the guard, and if you’re arriving late, make sure to say hi to Pauli — she’s got a keen eye and a knowing look that says, "You’re late, buddy." Pauli isn’t just a guard; she’s the brainiest cat in the neighborhood, silently watching everything with her clever little eyes. If you want a laugh, just greet her politely, but don’t expect her to respond with words — she prefers to keep her cool and her secrets!
