La convivencia con Ola ha sido estupenda desde el primer día, respetuosa autónoma, con iniciativa y responsable, ha ayudado mucho en diferentes cosas :) Su estancia muy agradable y divertida. Recomendable 💯.
This was one of the best Workaways I could imagine. Yago is very positive and welcoming and I enjoyed the few hours we spent together but I ended up staying with his friend - Olvido so my review will refer to her.

… read more Riba-Roja de Turia. Both of those locations offered amazing things that I wouldn’t be able to experience just by staying in a big city like Valencia.
Olvido is a very kind soul and she welcomed me in her house with open arms. Despite the fact that I'm not fluent in Spanish, she was very patient with me and we managed to communicate and even become friends without ever switching to English. We worked together, cooked and spent some free time by watching movies and getting some fresh horchata.
I wholeheartedly recommend her as a host if you are flexible and are willing to do some light renovating chores. When I’m near Valencia next time I will deffinitely want to come back to stay with Olvido, her chickens and two cats :))

I did a one-month Workaway in Llíria with Yago and it was simply wonderful! Not only is the house beautiful, fully equipped and has a super cool rooftop terrace, but the people living there are also incredibly warm, helpful, open, and kind!

… read more to painting walls and decluttering rooms — I got to do a bit of it all! Yago patiently taught me everything I needed to know for my work, always with humor, patience and good vibes. He was always available to answer questions, and more often than not, he was right there working alongside me. He's really an incredible person with a crazy life, many projects in his head, random skills and a really good heart.
He always respected my free time and was super flexible with working hours whenever I wanted to take a day or afternoon off. Next to work I also had an amazing time: I met many friends of Yago and we often went on little trips on the weekends. Living in Lliria with him and Eli, his roommate, really felt like being at home. What was originally planned as a two-week stay turned into four weeks of Workaway - this is how good it was! ;-)

Our experience with Nicky was not as positive as we had hoped.
Unfortunately, she often left things dirty and had a habit of smoking excessively. Additionally, she drank a lot during work hours and often worked while intoxicated, which affected her performance.
She would frequently take breaks every 5-10 minutes to have a cigarette and a beer
… read more without asking anything and despite claiming to work many hours, she actually did very little.
Tasks that could be completed in an hour often took her 5 hours to finish.
She would also suddenly leave work without informing anyone to go to a bar.
On the first day, she mentioned that she was involved with spirits and claimed that they influenced her actions.
When we asked her to leave, she became upset.
Following the termination of our professional relationship, Nicky proceeded to send us a series of messages via WhatsApp that were both threatening and offensive in nature.
The language she used was aggressive, inappropriate, and highly unprofessional, causing us to feel distressed and alarmed.
In conclusion, our experience with her was highly disappointing and raised multiple serious concerns.
Her behavior during and after the engagement demonstrated a clear lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect.
For these reasons, we cannot recommend her for any future roles and advise others to proceed with caution when considering her for a position of trust or responsibility.Feedback

… read more my time with Olvido, a truly nurturing and kind hearted woman. She made me feel so welcome, and I loved being around her two cuddely cats and her chickens. One of the most magical moments of my stay was witnessing little chicks hatching for the first time, such a simple yet incredible experience that I’ll never forget.
I also got to meet Yago and his wonderful group of friends, who were all incredibly welcoming. And I have to mention Yago’s cooking, it was absolutely delicious!

I had a great time! From not knowing each other to friends for life. Boody is kind, funny and a great cook! He made me feel very comfortable. He helped me a lot with learning Spanish and had great patience which was very generous and useful of him. I recommend going and helping him. You won’t regret it. Valencia is beautiful as is Lliria and it’s super easy to get into the centre of Valencia by metro.
