  Welcome to our renovated old mill located in Estang, in the heart of the Gers region.
  
  We are Laurence and Vincent, and we live on a 5-hectare property surrounded by nature, with a pond, meadows, and an environment conducive to peace and tranquility.
  
  It is important to clarify that this project is entirely personal and has no commercial purpose. We do not operate a hotel, bed and breakfast, gîte, or wellness center. We currently do not welcome any guests, and this property does not generate any income. No commercial activity takes place on the property, and volunteers do not participate in any income-generating activities. Their help is limited to the maintenance and improvement of our private property.
  
  Our long-term goal is to make this place a welcoming space where people needing a break, to recharge, or to find balance can enjoy a natural and soothing setting. We would also like to be able to welcome, on a voluntary basis, people in difficult situations, particularly refugees or others needing temporary accommodation in a peaceful environment. This project is still in the planning and preparation stages.
  
  We are looking for volunteers to help us maintain and improve the property, primarily to locate and repair leaks in the pond, as well as to carry out some minor maintenance and landscaping. The tasks offered are exclusively related to our private property and do not replace any paid employment.
  
  Volunteers will be accommodated in a separate mobile home with water and electricity. We will provide lunch, which we will eat together, as well as everything needed for breakfast and dinner.
  
  We would be happy to share our home, our project, and to introduce the Gers region to people who love nature, human interaction, and projects based on sharing, simplicity, and solidarity.
  
  Bienvenue dans notre ancien moulin rénové situé à Estang, au cœur du Gers.
  
  Nous sommes Laurence et Vincent et vivons sur une propriété de 5 hectares entourée de nature, avec un étang, des prairies et un environnement propice au calme et à la sérénité.
  
  Il est important de préciser que ce projet est entièrement personnel et n’a aucun objectif commercial. Nous n’exploitons ni hôtel, ni chambres d’hôtes, ni gîte, ni centre de bien-être. Nous n’accueillons actuellement aucun client et cette propriété ne génère aucun revenu. Aucune activité commerciale n’est exercée sur la propriété et les volontaires ne participent à aucune activité générant des revenus. Leur aide concerne uniquement l’entretien et l’amélioration de notre propriété privée.
  
  Notre souhait est, à long terme, de faire de ce lieu un espace d’accueil où des personnes ayant besoin de faire une pause, de se ressourcer ou de retrouver un équilibre pourront profiter d’un cadre naturel et apaisant. Nous aimerions également pouvoir accueillir, à titre bénévole, des personnes en situation difficile, notamment des réfugiés ou d’autres personnes ayant besoin d’un hébergement temporaire dans un environnement serein. Ce projet est encore à l’état de réflexion et de préparation.
  
  Nous recherchons des volontaires pour nous aider à entretenir et améliorer la propriété, principalement pour rechercher et réparer les fuites de l’étang, ainsi que pour réaliser quelques petits travaux d’entretien et d’aménagement extérieur. Les tâches proposées concernent exclusivement notre propriété privée et ne remplacent aucun emploi salarié.
  
  Les volontaires seront logés dans un mobile-home indépendant avec eau et électricité. Nous fournissons le déjeuner que nous prendrons ensemble et egalement tout ce qu’il faut pour le petit dejeuner et diner.
  
  Nous serons heureux de partager notre lieu de vie, notre projet et de faire découvrir le Gers à des personnes qui aiment la nature, les échanges humains et les projets fondés sur le partage, la simplicité et la solidarité.

  The cultural exchange will focus on discovering rural life in the Gers and neighboring Landes regions, our local heritage, gastronomy, and traditions. We will enjoy sharing our daily lives, experiences, and way of living in this natural setting.
  
  Volunteers will also have the opportunity to share their own culture, stories, skills, and experiences. We hope to create simple and authentic moments of sharing around meals, conversations, and everyday activities.
  
  L’échange culturel se fera autour de la découverte de la vie rurale dans le Gers et des Landes voisines, de notre patrimoine local, de notre gastronomie et de nos traditions. Nous aurons plaisir à partager notre quotidien, nos expériences et notre façon de vivre dans ce lieu en pleine nature.
  
  Les volontaires pourront également nous faire découvrir leur propre culture, leurs histoires, leurs savoir-faire et leurs expériences. Nous souhaitons créer des moments de partage simples et authentiques autour des repas, des discussions et des activités du quotidien.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for volunteers to help us with some outdoor tasls: mainly repairing leaks in the pond, as well as small landscaping and maintenance.
