  Hi, we live in a cortijo with our 4 dogs and 6 cats (rescues) in the mountains, 25 minutes drive from the coast of Almunecar in the province of Granada. We are looking for real nature lovers who would like to spend some time in this beautiful rural ! area in the mountains, close to the coast, and could in exchange take care of our lovely animals when we are not there.

  We offer to spend some time in a very relaxing and beautiful area in the mountains which is great for hikes, cycling or just relax at the beach or our pool, i would like travellers to get to know the beautiful area we live in, if interested travellers can be involved in animal rescue, and get to know the vibrant spanish lifestyle and learning the language if wanted.

  Arbeit

  Housesitting would only involve taking care of the dogs and cats and keeping the house as it was :-). Feeding twice a day, walks twice a day , playing, brushing etcetera. They are all easy going and do not have special needs at the moment. No gardening necessary.

  Unterkunft

  The mainhouse is available which has 2 bedrooms , as well as a little guesthouse next to our mainhouse with own bathroom and kitchen as shown in the picture. There is a pool, terrace, garden and roofterrace. The acccesroad is fine but not close to public transport.

  Boomer

  Boomer is the most appreciative rescue dog that has been in foster with us for many years untill we adopted him. It would break ours and his heart to be abandoned one more time. We could not place him with little children as he can still be a bit unpredictable. We know when to stop stroking him. He is the sweetest boy and wont leave your side. From the walks, he mostly like the part when we go home again. He loves to do crazy cuddles but do not try to cut his nails :-)

  

  Bella

  Bella is the sweetest podenco/border collie cross, loves to run and play. She is always looking for a way to please you and is very humble

  

  Max

  Our big baby boy. Max is very energetic and loves the whole world and thinks they love him too. Very sweet and affectionate but also the boss in the house and takes care of everything, a big protector

  

  Reina

  Reina is our rescue queen. As she is a spanish mastin , she is very stubbern, big (65 kilo) but loves attention , cuddles and brushing. A real diva!
