Wonderful experience of construction with adobe and wood in Cordoba, Argentina

  Beschreibung

  We are with my partner Mira, at the foot of the Uritorco hill, in Capilla del Monte, Punilla Valley, province of Cordoba (Argentina).
  We arrived a couple of years ago and after finding the right place, we started to build a house in adobe.
  It is a good place for walks, the landscape of the mountains is inspiring.
  We are meters from the Calabalumba river and a half hour walk to the base of the hill.
  
  
  About us:
  We practice zen meditation (za-zen) and we are interested in psycho-physical practices such as Tai Chi, qi gong, yoga, etc. So we are open to transmit what we have learned or receive instruction from more advanced people in those paths.
  I am a Reiki therapist and plastic artist. My partner, Mira, is a initiator in the Zen meditation technique, and a vegetarian cook in meditation retreats.
  A medium-term objective is to carry out a second construction, intended for internal development activities such as plastic arts, music, dance, meditation and healing.
  
  
  Sobre nosotros:
  Practicamos la meditacion zen (za-zen) y nos interesamos por practicas sicofisicas como el Tai Chi ,el qi gong, el yoga, etc. Asi que estamos abiertos a transmitir lo aprendido o recibir instruccion de personas mas avanzadas en esos caminos.
  Soy terapeuta Reiki y artista plastico. Mi compañera, Mira, es inicidadora en la tecnica de la meditacion Zen, y cocinera vegetariana en retiros de meditacion.
  Un objetivo a mediano plazo es realizar una segunda construccion , destinada a actividades de desarrollo interno como artes plasticas, musica, danza, meditacion y sanacion.
  
  
  
  Estamos con mi compañera Mira ,en la falda del cerro Uritorco, en Capilla del Monte, Valle de Punilla,provincia de Cordoba (Argentina).
  Llegamos hace un par de años y luego de encontrar el sitio adecuado, comenzamos a construir una casa en adobe.
  Es un buen lugar para caminatas, el paisaje de la sierras es inspirador.
  estamos a metros del rio Calabalumba y a media hora de caminata a la base del cerro.

  Compartiremos la informacion y el conocimiento que hemos adquirido en esta experiencia particular y maravillosa de construir, que es el adobe y la madera.

  Arbeit

  We need help to continue the construction, which is already in considerable progress. Floor, structure, ceiling, bathroom and sanitary connection are already made. We have electricity and water.
  In this stage we are raising the walls with lightened quilts and making the plasters in mud clay and straw.
  It is about going to find straw to a nearby hill, prepare the mixtures with sand and clay, apply them on the walls. Also mount the structures for future windows, with eucalyptus trunks. And raise the following quinchas to continue the construction.
  Knowledge is required to handle basic tools, such as drills, saws and saws, ax, shovel, etc.
  It is not necessary to have previous experience in construction.
  4 to 5 hours of daily work.
  
  
  Necesitamos ayuda para continuar la construccion, que ya se encuentra en un avance considerable. Piso, estructura, techo, baño y conexion sanitaria ya estan realizados.Tenemos luz y agua.
  En esta etapa estamos levantando las paredes con quincha alivianada y realizando los revoques en barro de arcilla y paja.
  Se trata de ir a buscar paja a un montecito cercano , preparar las mezclas con arena y arcilla, aplicarlas en los muros. Tambien montar las estructuras para las futuras ventanas, con troncos de eucaliptus. Y levantar las siguientes quinchas para continuar la construccion.
  Se requiere el conocimiento para manejar las herramientas basicas, como ser taladro, sierras y serruchos, hacha, pala etc.
  No es necesario tener experiencia previa en la construccion.
  4 a 5 hs de trabajo diario.

  Unterkunft

  We provide a tent for two people, there is a bathroom, electricity, water, cooking with wood and there is wifi through a cellular connection.
  We are living in another tent, and we are concerned with feeding everyone.
  As part of the exchange, we offer vegetarian breakfast and lunch.
  There is a finished room with salamander heating that we use as a dining room and living room.
  We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  We are vegetarians
  We usually have breakfast or coffee, toast, sometimes fruits with seeds.
  Usually lunch is a salad and some cooked food, rice and vegetables.
  And at night a cooked food, always based on vegetables.
  
  
  Proveemos una carpa para dos personas, Hay baño, Luz, agua, se cocina con leña y hay wifi atraves de una conexión celular.
  Nosotros estamos viviendo en otra carpa, y nos ocupamos de la alimentacion de todos.
  Como parte del intercambio, ofrecemos desayuno y almuerzo vegetarianos .
  Hay un cuarto terminado con calefaccion de salamandra que utilizamos como comedor y sala de estar.
