  We are a Belgian family living in the heart of Montreal and we would like to host someone for a cultural exchange and a temporary homestay for a few weeks.
  
  This is not a job or a paid position, but an exchange based on sharing daily life, discovering Montreal, and experiencing family life.
  
  👶 Daily Participation
  We are looking for someone proactive, efficient, and comfortable taking initiative in daily life. The person could, for example, participate in certain aspects of the family routine, such as:
  • taking the children in the morning or at the end of the day
  • going to the park
  • helping with tidying up related to the children
  • occasionally participating in some routine household tasks
  
  Flexibility is important, as occasional help on weekends may be appreciated depending on the family’s needs.

  • This experience is part of a voluntary cultural exchange and is not an employment opportunity.
  • No remuneration is provided.
  • The participant must already have legal status allowing them to reside in Canada (citizenship, residency, valid permit, etc.), and therefore be able to participate in daily life accordingly.
  
  Everyone remains responsible for complying with applicable Canadian and Quebec laws regarding immigration and residency.
  
  Above all, we are looking for a wonderful human connection with someone who loves children and wants to have a cultural experience in Quebec 🙂

  Nous sommes une famille belge vivant au cœur de Montréal et nous souhaitons accueillir chez nous une personne dans le cadre d’un échange culturel et d’un séjour temporaire chez l’habitant pour quelques semaines.
  
  Il ne s’agit pas d’un emploi ni d’un poste rémunéré, mais d’un échange basé sur le partage du quotidien, la découverte de Montréal et la vie familiale.
  
  👶 Participation au quotidien
  Nous recherchons une personne proactive, efficace et à l’aise pour prendre des initiatives dans la vie de tous les jours. Elle pourra participer à certains moments de la routine familiale, par exemple :
  • accompagner les enfants le matin ou en fin de journée à la garderie
  • aller au parc / participer aux routines avec nous des enfants
  • aider avec le rangement lié aux enfants
  • participer ponctuellement à certaines tâches familiales courantes (cuisine/nettoyage/rangement)
  
  Une certaine flexibilité est importante, car une aide occasionnelle le week-end peut être demandée selon les besoins de la famille.

  ⚖️ Précisions importantes
  • Cette expérience s’inscrit dans un cadre d’échange culturel volontaire et non d’emploi.
  • Aucune rémunération n’est prévue.
  • La personne devra déjà disposer d’un statut légal lui permettant de séjourner au Canada (citoyenneté, résidence, permis valide, etc.) et être en mesure de participer au quotidien en conséquence.
  • Chacun reste responsable du respect des lois canadiennes et québécoises applicables en matière d’immigration et de séjour.
  
  Nous recherchons avant tout une belle rencontre humaine avec une personne qui aime les enfants et souhaite vivre une expérience culturelle au Québec 🙂
