Hi! I'm Tommy, and I've recently started restoring my family's property. This house is a cozy, old-fashioned country retreat, located right near two of France's most beautiful lakes: Lac du Bourget and Lac d'Annecy.
I’m a welder, with a passion for DIY projects, but I also love nature, life's simple pleasures, and the region where I grew up.
Accommodation: two private bedrooms available.
Space available to park a van or motorhome.
Shops are a 5-minute drive away; the nearest train station is a 15-minute drive away.
Meals can be prepared independently or shared.
Don't speak French? No problem—we'll always find a way to understand each other.
We can work out the schedule together based on your plans. There is no minimum or maximum duration.
I look forward to meeting you and showing you what life in the French countryside is all about.

Salut ! Moi c'est Tommy, et je restaure la propriété familiale depuis peu. Cette maison de m3, c'est un petit cocoon à l'ancienne, à la campagne, tout près des plus beaux lacs de France, le lac du Bourget et le lac d'Annecy.
Soudeur de métier, je suis passionné de bricolage mais aussi amoureux de la nature, des plaisirs simples de la vie, et de la région qui m'a vue grandir.
Hébergement : deux chambres privatives disponibles.
Possibilité de garer un van ou un camping car.
Magasins à 5 min en voiture. Gare la plus proche à 15 min en voiture.
Les repas peuvent être libres ou partagés.
Vous ne parlez pas français ? Pas de problème, on trouvera toujours un moyen de se comprendre.
Les horaires sont à définir ensemble en fonction de votre projet. Pas de durée minimale ou maximale.
J'ai hâte de vous connaître et de vous faire découvrir la vie à la campagne française. -

As for the help needed, it mainly involves small diy projects, creating decor, general house help, tending the vegetable garden, and building a chicken coop. There is always projects to be done in this large house. The building is surrounded by a large plot of land that also requires some help.

Concernant l'aide requise, il s'agit principalement de petits travaux de restauration, création de décor, entretien de la maison, entretien du potager, création de poulailler. Dans cette grande maison il y a toujours à faire. La battisse est entourée de terrain à entretenir. -
