  My name is Martin, I'm from Quito-Ecuador and I'm currently living and managing my Hostel located at a beach town called Mompiche, in the northern ecuadorian coast, province of Esmeraldas. I decided to start the project at this place because its amazing!!! its somewhere the jungle and the beach meets. There are many paradise beaches around, great surf (which is one of the main reasons I live here🤙🏼), delicious food and many nice people to meet from here and all around the world. This is basically a touristic, surfing and fishing town.

  You can practice many languages in this town thanks to the flow of tourist from many countries. The primary language is spanish. You could learn a lot about wildlife and sealife from the zone. This is a place full of biodiversity. People from the ecuadorian coast are very happy and positive and its interesting to interact with them. Working with me will give you the chance to prove your skills, cause I like things done in the best possible way!

  I need one volunteer to help me out from monday to saturday (three hours a day) with different chores of the Hostel like recieving guests, laundry, cleaning, gardening, mural painting, among others.

  Unterkunft

  What I offer in return its a bed on a shared mixed dorm for six persons or a private tent with mattress in the camping area which is inside the Hostel, under roof. Whatever you preffer. You can also do laundry here for free, use the kitchen with free drinking water, fast wifi and the social areas.

  The closest airport is in Esmeraldas city about two hours away from Mompiche by bus. We are 6-8 hours away from Quito and 10 from Guayaquil by bus. In your time off you can relax at the beach, practice water sports such as surfing. We have really good and constant waves here. You can socialize with people in town. You can go to nearby beaches like Playa Negra which has black sand or you can visit and camp in the island of Portete with white sand and giant palm trees everywhere. You can do jungle tours to watch birds, monkeys and many native species in their habitat.
