  Hello, welcome to our nursery and primary school, in the Mpanda -Katavi region. In our school we enrol children from 2 yrs old up to 14 yrs old. We use English language for teaching
  We hope that each volunteer who comes to stay with us will be able to contribute whatever skills they have.
  We are warm welcome to those who are interested in working with the children we are welcome
  Accommodation:
  we live in ordinary house with my family, where we could accommodate our volunteers. We have two more rooms separate within the compound, we have clean water tape .
  We have power supply (electricity and standby solar system)
  Secured area-Our compound is well fenced with Bricks wall and secured.

  volunteers will learn our life style , like how we eat, how we behave and many others things volunteer will learn , we will also learn from you how Western Countries eat,live, etc, we will also be beneficial to our project by bringing new ideas how we can improve ourschool project and other things.
  You may also help the Daycare Can and Nursery School project with Baby Toys,,,puzlles ,old or new laptop (we just need 5 for a computer room),Flascards, books,pencils, wallpapers, balls,sport materials, , TV ,(these for teaching),slides play ,swings, and other learning and teaching materials for kids,

  We hope that each volunteer who comes to stay with us will be able to contribute whatever skills,professional they have.
  We welcomes volunteers, tourists, professionals and all world-wide kinds of visitors from abroad who will be hosted in our school place and be treated to typical African hospitality and generosity for the purpose of social integration and inter-cultural immersion.

  Unterkunft

  We have two rooms separate within the school compus to accomudate guest bath and toilet is out side the room.
  We have Internet Coverage but at our place we do not have Wireless Internet , what we advice volunteers is to buy a Simcard at your arrival or you may buy at our place with the help from our people and you will have simcard which will help you in getting fast Internet .

  location
  We are located at Mpanda town Katavi region in the southwest part of Tanzania, the place called Mpanda if you see a map.
  
  Transport
  If you arrive Tanzania at Dar Es Salaam Airport you may take a plane from dar es salaam airport to Mpanda airport ( it takes only 1hr 45 minutes to Mpanda airpot or On the way to our place you may pick a bus at bus Magufuli Terminal -Dar es salaam and you will spend only one day to reach Mpanda Katavi

  Weather
  Mpanda is tropical area and fresh air all the time
  What to bring?
  Comfortable and light and cold clothing for the day and a warm sweater or a jacket.
  Be aware that Tanzania moral standards are different from western dress codes and therefore wearing shorts or skirts above your knees will get you a lot of attention.
  
  Other important items: mosquito malaria tablets (consult your doctor before departure), personal medicine, sunscreen, hat, comfortable shoes and slippers. Feel free to bring any other items you think will be necessary for you.
  
  Accommodation
  We have ordinary house and two rooms separate to accomodate a guest where you will be provided with bed and adequate beddings.
  With the host family you will be encouraged to eat local African dishes (which most people find quite appetizing!) and take part of the family life and duties.
  What to do during the stay?
  There are different projects and services you can take part in. Arrangements will be made for you depending on your skills and preferences though we need every kind of volunteers regardless of the skills . You will be the one deciding how much time (hours and days) and energy you are willing to spend on any project. As for us, we can only assure you that working as part of a community project will provide you a completely new and rewarding experience.

  We have asteroids centre,Hot Spring water,Parks e.g Katavi National Park, Gombe and games reserves
  
  Out-door Activities
  There are opportunities for hiring boating, fishing, bird-watching, sun-set watching, mountainng, picnicking, visit to the nearby Lakeshore-Tanganyila,local gold mines,Plantation.
  
  IMPORTANT: we offer accommodation and three meals per day (African meal)
