I love cats.
I've always had and keep lots of cats because they often turn up here or I rescue them from the street.
And, as well as making a lot of handicrafts dedicated to and alluding to cats, the profits from these handicrafts go precisely towards looking after them and creating conditions for their future adoption.
So anyone who loves cats, and only those who love cats, are welcome.

This is an old house, which I'm repairing and reorganising, with basic amenities and hygiene, 2 bathrooms, 2 single or shared bedrooms, Wi-Fi and kitchen access, in a small village.
I also have a small vegetable garden.
And I need help.

The drawbacks:
The house and workshop need a lot of work;
Because it is an old house, it may not be suitable for people with respiratory problems;
And the water in the bathroom may not always be very hot...

Time available (days and periods to be agreed):
For food and accommodation I'd like 25 hours, 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
(I'm macrobiotic. Meat and fish I cook every day but only for the cats. The human diet is basicly vegetarian).
If it's just in exchange for accommodation, I ask for 10 hours, 2 hours per, 5 days per week.
... but, if you want to cook often meat and fish for yourself, you're in the wrong place...

We are close to Caldas da Rainha (thermal city with a beautiful park inside the city and a superior school of art and design), Óbidos (walled town, usually belonging to the queens of Portugal, where frequent events take place), Alcobaça (city with the monastery of the Cistercian monks, where the first public school of Portugal existed - XIII century, and where the tombs of D. Pedro and D. Inês, the tragic and true Portuguese love story - XIV century), Nazaré (very touristic beach now with the nearby beach, Praia do Norte, with its giant waves), and the beautiful and calm bay of S. Martinho do Porto, right next door...
During the week there are buses. At weekends there are very few...
