Beschreibung
Our small farm in Algarve/Portugal is situated near Faro with cats, dogs and chicken. Help is needed with plants e.g. Frangipanis (weeding, repotting etc) and the house and the plot (painting, cleaning, cutting bushes and trees).
We can offer a nice accommodation (room or caravan, depends on the time of year) and bikes to explore the region or visit the next beach (8 km away). The farm is situated 2 km away from the next village and somebody who likes nature and animals and also private time during the day will like a stay. Normally help is asked between breakfast and lunch, so afternoons are free time and it would be very good, if you have ideas how to spent it. You could walk or bike or read or sleep....
If everybody feels good, I prefer helpers for a longer stay. And I prefer helpers, who can drive manual car and want to get involved in life on the farm.

Arbeit
Most of the help is working with plants in the nursery. Beside this sometimes we need to paint something and also take care of the whole plot. Sometimes we need to cut a tree etc. We would be happy if somebody wants to help us 3-4hours daily/6 days a week.

A helper should like nature and animals. And the best would be, you can enjoy both. We are a more quiet place. Next village Moncarapacho 2 km far away, next beach 8 km. We can offer bikes to go around.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Sabine. Die Arbeiten waren nicht allzu schwer und wir hatten auch noch viel Freizeit zur eigenen Verfügung. Die Tiere von Sabine sind super süß und vor allem Buddy muss man einfach ins Herz schließen.

Sabine and Didi were great, the work is what it's shown on the profile. I stayed 2 weeks and I had plenty free time, we cooked together, shared beers and have awesome times. The place is in the middle of nowhere, this is a good place if you like to be alone and enjoy nature. Hope going back one day :)

Didi and Sabine, so cute together, we had great conversations while eating. Sabine is very good cooker, she made some traditional german foods and i loved it. Emilie and Orlando stayed with us 2 weeks and have been a great help with the plants, e.g. clearing spaces, repotting etc. Emilie also helped me to clean the guestrooms and baked very good cake. Both are friendly and reliable helpers and even gave us some hours off, in the meantime they took care of all, even the dogs. We can recommend them.

I had a lovely time with Sabine en Didi. I fell in love with the palms and learnt a lot from Didi. Sabine is an inspiring person and her love of animals rubbed off on me.
