• 

  Beschreibung

  We are a English academy located in the city of Azogues, Cañar – Ecuador. Our mission is to teach English as a second language for levels A1 to C2, including preparation for different international tests like B2 First (Cambridge), TOEFL, etc.
  
  We are looking for volunteers who speak English (either natively or as a second language) to share conversations, culture, and real-life experiences with our students.
  
  As voluntueer, you don´t have to teach English grammar. You´ll have to focus on speaking and help students to overcome the fear of having conversations in a different language.
  
  Currently, we have 6 people part of our staff. 1 manager, 2 teachers, 1 secretary, and 2 maketers,

  Azogues is a charming city in the heart of Ecuador, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and beautiful parks that you can explore in your free time.
  
  Cuenca is from 25 to 30 minutes away. It is a well known city full of culture, nice architecture and lots of places to visit.
  
  Also, Azogues is at the midldle of Ecuador, which means you´ll be able to travel easily to different parts of the country.

  Arbeit

  As volunteer you don´t have to teach English grammar. You´ll have to focus on speaking and help students to overcome the fear of having conversations in a different language.
  
  The conversations will be mostly one to one, but of course if they want to a group chat you will be able to do it that way, too.
  
  You will also have the chance to play games, listen to music, share pictures, and talk about all kind of experiences you´ve had. That way the student will be more interested and you´ll have fun times.

  Unterkunft

  We provide comfortable accommodation with all the basic amenities you’ll need during your stay, as well as one daily meal, specially for breakfast. You’ll have the ingredients for breakfast such as milk, oats, eggs, fruits, etc.
  
  We know workawayers have different meal regimes and because of that we provide the ingredients for them to prepare food according to their needs.
