  Beschreibung

  We are an anti-specist refugee for "farm considerate" animals who have been exploited, abused and abandoned. They need a second chance to leave and heal both physically and emotionally.
  
  We are in Soria because of the absence of a n appropiate space for these survivors in southeast Spain.
  
  Our goal is to create and sustain a place that safeguards optimal life conditions for the most discriminated species, to raise awareness through their stories and spread arround the world that a different way to live is possible, with a more empathic and respectfull ethic.
  
  We provide a home to animals that will live all their lives free and respected, safe from the anthropocentric speciesism stablished by out society.
  
  All the rescued lives will be treated in an individual way, according to their necessities and personality, living with another inhabitants of differents species and genders, forming a big family.
  
  Our work helps to save lives, and them to change the world's perception about animals, understanding how they are when they are free, because is really different live in a cage than live free.
  
  Somos un refugio para animales supervivientes al especismo, rescatados de la explotación, maltrato o abandono, que necesitan una segunda oportunidad para vivir y recuperarse tanto física como emocionalmente.
  
  
  Nos encontramos en Soria, ante la ausencia de un espacio acorde para estas supervivientes en dicha zona de España.
  
  Nuestro fin es crear y conservar un lugar que asegure unas condiciones de vida óptimas para las especies más discriminadas por parte de la sociedad, concienciando a través de sus historias, y dando a conocer al mundo que otro tipo de vida es posible, con una moral más empática y respetuosa con los animales no humanos.
  
  
  
  Nos dedicamos cada día a rescatar, recuperar, cuidar y proteger animales a los que se les ha negado una oportunidad de vivir plenamente. Aquí viven el resto de sus días libres y respetados.

  Todas las vidas rescatadas son tratadas de forma individual, acorde a sus necesidades y personalidad, conviviendo con otras habitantes de diferentes especies, con las que forman una familia.
  
  
  Nuestra labor ayuda a salvar vidas, y ellas a que el mundo cambie su percepción sobre los animales, conociendo cómo son fuera de la esclavitud, pues no es lo mismo vivir en jaulas, que en libertad.

  With the Workaway experience at the sanctuary, you'll immerse yourself in vegan culture and its daily practice, both in terms of food and learning an anti-speciesist perspective in your daily interactions with the sanctuary's inhabitants. You'll also learn about the history of the land, life in the area, and related traditions, such as the mycology of these ancient forests.
  
  You can integrate into the team by participating daily in the simplest tasks, taking on a supportive role in our routine. Your participation will give you insight into how a sanctuary operates, allowing you to understand our unique perspective and approach. Likewise, we hope to be enriched by the fresh perspectives that volunteers bring and gradually build a fantastic volunteer community.
  
  Con la experiencia workaway en el santuario podrás empaparte de la cultura vegana y su práctica diaria, tanto en la alimentación cómo en el aprendizaje de una perspectiva antiespecista en el trato diario con las habitantes. También podrás conocer historias sobre el territorio, la vida en la zona, sus tradiciones afines como la micología en estos antiguos bosques por ejemplo.
  
  Te podrás integrar en el equipo de trabajo a través de la participación diaria, en las tareas más sencillas, tomando un rol de apoyo en nuestra rutina. Tu participación te brindará conocimientos sobre el funcionamiento en un santuario, podrás conocer nuestra perspectiva y enfoque único. Del mismo modo esperamos poder enriquecernos de las nuevas visiones que aportáis las personas voluntarias y poco a poco generar una comunidad de voluntariado genial.

  Vegan room and vegan food. Located in the same shelter as the accommodation, 20 minutes walk from the nearest town.

  The nearest town is 20 minutes away by car and there are buses from the town. In Soria there is a lot of nature to visit and enjoy.
