  We are a family of four, plus our little dog, Trufa, a 3-year-old miniature schnauzer. We have two children, Marc (6) and Ivet (4). Marc loves basketball, cycling, and motorbikes, while Ivet enjoys dance, makeup, and arts and crafts. We would love to provide an immersion into English culture, with a focus on speaking, and engage in a meaningful cultural exchange.
  We offer a private room in our spacious home, where all living areas are shared. We have a garden, and in the summer, a swimming pool. We live in Alcover, a town located 15 minutes from Reus (Tarragona) and one hour from Barcelona. We are also just 20 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the mountains.
  We have a strong support network of family nearby, and we love to celebrate and spend our free time with friends and relatives.
  We both work in the field of mental health: my husband is the gardening supervisor at a specialized vocational center, and I am a psychologist and coordinator for a network of assisted-living residences.
  We would be delighted to welcome you, share our way of life, and show you our local surroundings.

  Somos una familia de 4 y una perrita, Trufa. Un snauzcher mini de 3 años. Tenemos 2 hijos, Marc e Ivet, de 6 y 4 años. Marc amante del baloncesto, la bicicleta, las motos. Ivet disfruta con danza, maquillaje y manualidades. Nos encantaría hacerles una immersión en la cultura inglesa, especialmente speeking y hacer ese intercambio a nivel cultural.
  Ofreceríamos una habitación individual, y una casa, amplia, para compartir todos los espacios. Tenemos jardín y en verano, piscina. Vivimos en Alcover, un pueblo a 15minutos de Reus (Tarragona) y a 1h de Barcelona. A 20 minutos de la playa y 10minutos de la montaña.
  Disponemos de una familia de apoyo y nos gusta celebrar y disfrutar del tiempo libre con amigos y familia.
  Ambos nos dedicamos a la Salut mental. Mi marido es Responsable de jardinería en un Centro especial de trabajo, y yo, psicóloga y coordinadora de una red de pisos Asistidos.
  Estaremos encantados de recibiros, enseñaros nuestro modo de vida y nuestro entorno.

  Arbeit

  We need a young person to play and spend time with our children, speaking English and teaching them about English traditions. This person should help them improve their speaking skills and support us with tasks such as tidying their playroom, keeping their bedrooms clean, playing games in the afternoon, going to the park, cycling, going to the beach, and occasionally picking them up from school or extracurricular activities.

  Necesitaremos una persona joven que juegue y pase tiempo con nuestros hijos hablando inglés y enseñando tradiciones de Inglaterra. Que refuerce su speeking. Que nos de soporte en las tareas con los niños y colabore de ellas. Tales como ayudarlos a recoger su sala de juegos, tener su habitación ordenada, juegos por la tarde, ir al parque, salir en bicicleta, a la playa, recogerlos algún día al colegio o las actividades extraescolares, etc.

  Unterkunft

  We have a double room available for our guest, with a mountain view and a full bathroom right next to the room. There is no need to bring bed linen or towels; we will provide all the essentials.
  Meals will be shared as a family whenever possible, and four meals a day are guaranteed (breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, and dinner). We will always include our guest in family activities.
  As a mother, I love cooking and baking. I would also love to learn recipes from your home country!

  Disponemos de una habitación doble para nuestra persona de acogida, con vistas a la montaña, un baño completo al lado de la habitación. No necesita ropa de cama, ni toallas. Nosotros os proveeremos de todo lo básico.
  Las comidas se harán en familia siempre que se pueda y se garantizan las 4 comidas diarias (desayuno, comida, merienda y cena). Siempre lo a cogeremos en planes familiares.
  Como madre de familia, me encanta cocinar y la repostería. Me encantaria aprender recetas de su país también

  We live very close to the mountains and 20 minutes from the beach. There is a theme park nearby, PortAventura.
  We are an hour from Barcelona and 25 minutes from Tarragona (a World Heritage city).
  There is a train station in the town.
  We have a car and commute to Reus every day. If you need to travel somewhere, we may be able to take you or help you figure out how to get there.
  The town has a sports complex, municipal swimming pools, padel courts, and a gym.
  There are also trails for hiking.

  Vivimos muy cerca de la montaña y a 20minutos de la playa. Tenemos un parque temático cerca, Port Aventura.
  A 1h de Barcelona y 25min de Tarragona (ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad).
  En el pueblo hay estación de tren.
  Disponemos de coche en casa y vamos a trabajar a Reus cada día. Si necesita algún desplazamiento, en la medida de lo posible, podríamos llevarle o facilitarle como acceder.
  En el pueblo hay polideportivo, piscinas municipales, pistas de Pàdel, gimnasio.
  Caminos para hacer ruta caminando.

  Trufa es una perrita Snauchzer mini de 3 años. Hipoalergénica, muy simpática, amiga de todo el mundo. Muy sociable y buena perra.
