  We are in a beautiful and large house in Marseille with sea views, large garden and swimming pool. Retired (radio & TV audiovisual producer and Julien practices photography), we like to go out to cultural places: MUCEM, Contemporary Art, Theater and Dance, enjoy the sun, the creeks. We bought this house six years ago and there is no shortage of work (gardening, dry stone walls, etc.). Unfortunately, since 2001 I have been treated for cancer and can no longer participate because I am in a wheelchair.
  Please note that even in Marseille, the house is at an altitude of 180m and the nearest bus station is 100m away, or 80m to go back ;-)
  
  Nous sommes dans une belle et grande maison à Marseille avec vue sur la mer, grand jardin et piscine. A la retraite (producteur audiovisuel radio & TV et Julien pratique la photo), nous aimons sortir dans les lieux culturels : MUCEM, Art Contemporain, Théâtre et Danse, profiter du soleil, des calanques. Nous avons acheté cette maison il y a six ans et les travaux (jardinage, murs en pierres sèches…) ne manquent pas. Malheureusement, depuis 2001 je suis traité pour un cancer et ne peux plus guère participer car en fauteuil roulant
  Attention que même en étant sur Marseille, la maison est à 180m d'altitude et la station de bus la plus proche à 100m, soit 80m à remonter ;-)

  Julien practices Photography. We are good handymen, well equipped, and are used to doing everything by ourselves.

  Arbeit

  There is land to clear, trees to plant, stone walls to redo and general maintenance of the land. We obviously practice selective sorting and crush garden waste for compost.
  
  Il y a du terrain à défricher, des arbres à planter, des murets en pierre à refaire et de l'entretien général du terrain. Nous pratiquons bien évidemment le tri sélectif et broyons les déchets du jardin pour compost et permaculture

  We are north of Marseille, almost in the countryside. To get around without a car, there is a 20mn walk with an 80m drop to reach the bus station. By car it is 18 minutes from the Old Port (and of course you can take the shuttle if necessary).
  
  Nous sommes au Nord de Marseille, presque en pleine campagne. Pour se déplacer sans voiture il y a 10mn de marche avec 80m de dénivelé pour atteindre la station de bus. En voiture ont est à 18mn du Vieux-Port (et bien sûr on peux faire la navette si besoin).
