  Beschreibung

  We are an English retired couple living in Maro, Costa del Sol. We are away for 13 weeks from end of June until around 1st October so you need to hold an EU passport to comply with the Schengen rules.
  
  We do not have any pets. We have a newly planted Mediterranean garden that will need looking after so a good knowledge of plant care is essential and we also have a private swimming pool to maintain and some indoor plants to look after.
  
  Our villa is close to the Cueva de Nerja and the beautiful town of Nerja itself. We have fantastic views of the national park and the sea.

  There are many festivals held in Nerja and Maro during the summer and a plethora of beaches bars and restaurants to sample.

  Arbeit

  Newly Planted Garden & Drip System Monitoring: We have a beautiful, newly planted Mediterranean garden on a newly installed automated irrigation system. Because these plants are young and still establishing their root systems, they are highly vulnerable to the summer heat. This requires a daily visual check to ensure no zones are blocked, drip lines haven't popped, and young plants are receiving adequate water. There are also several planters that the irrigation system does not reach that will need hand watering.
  
  Houseplant Care: A collection of indoor houseplants will need hand-watering.
  
  Swimming Pool Upkeep: Keep the pool clear and functional. This involves a weekly water test, emptying the skimmer baskets, operating the pool vacuum, and topping up the water level when high summer evaporation occurs.

  NON SMOKERS ONLY PLEASE. There are many trails to explore around this beautiful area. There is a regular bus service within easy walking distance if you don’t want to walk too far.
