  Beschreibung

  We, Bulle and Rolf, have a farm with sheep, goats, and hens in the southern part of the region Östergötland. This is a very beautiful region. Our farm is in the forest, with meadows around. From Octobre to March, we need help with feeding the animals.
  
  The resident will have his or her own house to stay in, with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. A lake nearby for swimming and spending time in our big sauna is part of the staying with us.
  We usually spend about half the week and the weekends at the farm. But some days we are not there, and those days we need help with feeding the animals. We talk Swedish, English, German and French.
  
  The resident may stay from Octobre to March but can also come for a shorter time. However, we think that one month would be minimum.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  We have an art gallery where we also arrange concerts and cultural lectures in Vreta kloster. The resident will be very welcome to take part in these activities.
  
  In the neighborhood of Fagerhult, it is easy to find art galleries and music scenes of various types. We will be happy to share places to go to enjoy culture. Apart from Linköping, a large university city, there are several smaller towns like Västervik and Vimmerby with older buildings and places.
  
  The stories in books by Astrid Lindgren, such as Emil i Lönneberga and Bullerbybarnen, took place in this area. She was born half an hour from our place, and her museum is in Vimmerby. Our farm is in fact quite similar to Bullerbyn,

  Arbeit

  The help we need is feeding the animals twice a day. This takes about an hour each time.
  
  Apart from that, we can decide what kind of work you would like to do. If the Workawayer wants more work, there is plenty of tasks we could have help with: fixing the garden, carpentry, painting, repairing things, according to the volunteer's wishes and competencies. This is also a great possibility for volunteers who want a quiet and lovely place for doing his or her own things: studying, writing, painting. Thus, the time spent on working at the farm is quite optional.
  
  We pay according to Swedish wage norms.
