  Join our multilingual family home by the beautiful Danube River on the border of Slovakia-Hungary! We are Polish-Hungarian family of 4: mummy Magda, daddy Dodi, 5 year old Mariela and 4 year old Diana, who were born and spent their first months/years of life in England. We are looking forward to meet fellow volunteers (we were volunteering ourselves around the world before kids) :) Oh, and also bonus if you like cats you can play with and stroke (when she lets you ;) ) our youngest girl in the house Mirci (although she spends a lot of her time outside).
  
  We are located right in the middle between Bratislava and Budapest, close by beautiful Danube River, perfect place for some relaxing time, biking around, nearby we also have many wineries, Thermal baths and swimming pools in Patince or Štúrovo, a bit further to Podhájska. Also not that far to the picturesque Hungarian cities of Esztergom and Tata. Another interesting close by point of interest is a planetarium in Hurbanovo. In the summer we offer some fresh grown fruits and veggies, in the winter pickled and preserved ones. You can either sleep in the tent in the garden or on the sofa/mattress in one of the rooms in the house.

  We can share our multilingual skills with you, tell you many stories from our Round the World Trip and recommend places to go next, show you our cultures, food and DIY projects :) You can visit nearby wineries, see how the wine is made, taste it and enjoy your time at the Thermal baths located nearby. What we hope is to keep and teach our multicultural spirit and pass it on to our daughters.

  Arbeit

  Welcoming you in exchange for mostly some help around the house, garden and multilingual conversations and entertainment for our cheerful daughters. We are still finishing off mostly outside of the house so if you have some building/renovating/artistic skills that's amazing as well! :) We might be doing things together, we might ask you to do some independently, such us some help with cooking, cleaning or gardening, whatever the day brings! :)

  Unterkunft

  You can stay in one of the rooms in the house or in the garden in the tent.

  Was noch ...

  We can give you lifts from time to time, depending on availability as we only have 1 car, but there are buses around the area and trains from nearby towns and cities.
  
  The house rules: just making sure we don't make too much noise after 9pm as our daughters are sleeping latest by that time and just general kindness and cleanliness around yourself and our family home.
