  Hi, I am a solo parent living in one of the most beautiful places in British Columbia. Looking for some extra help around the home and with my young daughter (3 years old). I work in environmental conservation and spend a lot of time out in nature and exploring the waters. Our area is incredibly rich with biodiversity, culture, and beauty which I love to share with people when they come to visit. Anyone who loves nature, adventure and being surrounded by pure wilderness will enjoy the stay. I work primarily remote from home, but summer months can be variable with lots of outdoor time. Open to welcoming couples that would share one room.

  The area is incredible for any outdoor nature lover. We are a very adventurous family that like to go to new beautiful places in nature (e.g. forests, beaches, islands). I have a small boat that allows us to access the waters in the area where you will easily find seals, sea lions, sea otters, dolphins, humpback whales and killer whales, among the many others. The place we live in is beautiful, remote and full of history and culture of which I can share more. I work educating people on the wildlife and conservation on our coast so will educate anyone interested to learn about the local area. If you stay with us, we will show you this coast like no other. People that come here are here purely for the remoteness, quiet, and wild nature, so please be prepared to fully embrace it. This is not a place where you will find much in terms of restaurants, cafes, or shops.

  Arbeit

  I have a large property that sits next to a forest and river. There is a lot of maintenance including weed-wacking, gardening and trimming trails along with other small maintenance things around the house. I have a project to re-cover and clean up our greenhouse. Anyone that is handy and/or has carpentry skills are more then welcome as I have lots of wood-working and house projects.
  
  I am also looking for help watching my toddler who will be 4 next summer or help around the house with tasks including cooking and cleaning. The area is VERY remote and wild so there is no real public transportation so having a car is an asset, but you are more than welcome to join us on any of our adventures.

  Unterkunft

  You will have a private room in our beautiful home where you will be sharing the home with myself, daughter and dog, Charlie (Australian Shepherd and Border Collie). We will provide food and can eat together for dinner, but flexible with other meals. The home is on nearly 2 acres of land with an attached forest and river front spot where we like to have lovely fires. We also have a sauna in the forest where you can go from the sauna to the river.

  There is plenty to do in your time off if you are into nature. Endless hiking trails, camping, kayaking, beaches, forests and everything is accessible and all levels.
