Our names are Takihiro Sophea and Raksa. We are a farmer that created an organic farm in Mondulkiri province, Cambodia. Our farm was supported by the CEDAC organization and cooperate with the landowner to rent the land and do organic together.
There are two projects on our farm: 1, produce the organic product. 2, cooperate with other organic farmers for organic technical consultants and open ideas for developing organic agriculture in Cambodia.
We need many volunteers from abroad and around the world for sit-down and listening to our heart for what, we want to tell, what we want to share, what want to change and what we plant do together.
In our farm already have an office, banana, and passion fruit. We are designing a vegetable garden. We live in a mountain house. We think, what we have we can share. YOUR HOUSE YOUR HAPPY FARM.
Way for coming
Our Farm in Mondulkiri province (Mondulkiri means that the center of the mountain) at the north-east of Cambodia. Our farm is in Saen Monorom city (Saen Monourom mean that really very beautiful), Sangkat Sokadom ( Sokadom commune) We are sorry, because of our farm stay in the countryside of the city so it is no street number. For the way travel from the town to our farm a little problem (only raining time the road is a little difficult but still can going. We call it the adventure way). We spend around 20 minutes from the town to our farm.
We are separate two departments are fruits garden and vegetable garden. Our farmland is 15 hectares include the natural forest. We keep the natural forest for balance between our agricultural actions and the natural. So, it still some have animal wild, is on the mountain and it may be colder than other province of Cambodia (around 17 C – 25 C).
We dream, one day our farm will become Agroecology school for local communities and general people around. However, we still small but step by step.
