  We are a Finnish-Peruvian couple living here in the Valley and work in the tourism field. We are looking for help in our small B&B in Ollantaytambo where we would need a Workawayer to assist our local workers with cleaning, receiving guests or with little maintenance jobs.
  
  In the B&B we have a total of 10 rooms and it's in a walking distance from the town centre. Also the place has wifi and a shared kitchen and other common areas that the volunteers can use.

  The volunteers that will work with us will have the change to meet people from different countries and get to know how to run a small tourism business.
  
  The more reliable the Workawayer is the more responsible work we can give the person. We would love to get Workawayers that are proactive and have their own ideas of improving the B&B too!
  
  All of our volunteers love to stay with us and work along with Josue who is in charge of the daily activities at the B&B. The volunteers like to go hiking around the valley, in the evenings we sometimes do pizza nights or set up a fire in the garden.

  Arbeit

  Mostly we would need help with a bit of cleaning which would include the common areas and the rooms once the guests check-out. Also if you stay longer you could help us to receive guests and recommend places in town once you are more familiar with it. As the house is small the work would only take you around 3 hours a day or less. We would ask around 15 hours work a week in exchange for your own room. You would work alongside us and a couple who is responsible of the cleaning and the breakfast and stays at the property.
  
  Also we welcome anyone who has skills in maintenance such as little repairing work or painting in general as well someone with social media skills who could market our Facebook page, design flyers, make promotional videos etc. Also if the volunteer has skills in art we accept murals at the property.
  
  As the house is small we only accept 1 or 2 Workawayers at a time and would prefer them staying at least 2 weeks or longer. We prefer the volunteers to speak English as well to be able to communicate in Spanish when receiving Spanish speaking guests.
  
  The volunteers need to be honest, hardworking, proactive and eager to learn.

  Unterkunft

  In exchange of 15 hours of work we offer the volunteers a private room and access to a bathroom and a hot shower.
  
  The volunteers are able to use our kitchen to prepare their own food after the breakfast time is over. They can also use our wifi (which can be a bit slow sometimes due to the location in the mountains) and the other common areas such as our lovely garden.
  
  The B&B is in 10 min walk away from the town and there are shops and restaurants nearby.

  Was noch ...

  There are lots of places to visit in Ollantaytambo and in the valley in general. The place is perfect to hike around the surrounding mountains and visit the famous ruins in the nearby towns. Around Ollantaytambo you have a good change to practice your Spanish and get to know local people as well. You can easily walk everywhere as it's a safe small town but also you can use the local mototaxis that won't cost you much.
