Creative projects and house support near the beach in Lobitos, North Peru

  Beschreibung

  The main construction is done, but there’s still proper carpentry and finishing work to complete — wood details, adjustments, sanding, small installations, repairs, and making everything look clean and well finished.
  
  So I’m mainly looking for someone who knows their way around wood and tools, not just someone who enjoys occasional DIY.
  
  We currently hosting 2 volunteers here and are looking for a 3rd person to join the team. Carpentry experience would be ideal, but I’m also open to people with useful practical skills such as:
  
  • Interior decorating / design
  • Landscaping or gardening
  • Healthy cooking / meal prep
  • General handyman or finishing skills
  • Helping with errands, organizing, and day-to-day projects around the house
  
  There’s also some painting and general finishing work depending on your experience.
  
  In exchange, you’ll have your own room and bathroom**, access to a kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and a surfboard to use. We currently have one room left available for the right person.
  
  The house is close to the beach in Lobitos , so once the work is done you can surf, chill, explore the area, and enjoy the Lobitos vibe.
  
  The exchange is around 20 hours of help per week**.

  Looking for a good carpenter (painting skills are a bonus) to help me finish the last details of a new place in Lobitos.
  
  The main construction is done, but there’s still proper carpentry work to finish — wood details, adjustments, sanding, small installations, repairs and making everything look clean and well finished. So I’m really looking for someone who knows their way around wood and tools, not just someone who enjoys occasional DIY.
  
  There’s also some painting and general finishing work depending on your skills.

  I’m looking for someone who is skilled, responsible and independent ideally an experienced carpenter or painter who takes pride in doing clean, good-quality work.
  
  You should be comfortable working on your own, using tools, solving small problems and helping with the final details of the house.
  
  Also important: respectful of the space and good with animals
  
  Life here is pretty relaxed beach, surf, simple living and good vibes. You’ll have plenty of free time to enjoy Lobitos 🤙
  
  I’m fully bilingual in English and Spanish, so if you’re learning either language, happy to practice with you.
  
  And if you’re into surfing, business, marketing or martial arts, we’ll probably have some good conversations too.
