Beschreibung
We are a mixed couple (Italian&Indonesian) met in the incredible Karimunjawa, a beautiful island still almost hidden. We're both travellers too, so we decided to open 2 little but cozy hostels to offer a good stay to anyone who loves to know new cultures and places, and wants to discover this natural paradise. We often need help with different tasks. The two properties are actually only at 50m distance and very similar: 2 hostels with dormitories and few private rooms. In both of them I ask for a help in general cleaning (high season), general maintenance, painting murals, taking care of dogs...
We have 10 dogs (it's a long story...).

We will help you to discover the best spots on this island, including viewpoints and wonderful beaches. You'll live with and be introduced to lots of locals from whom you could learn about indonesian culture and habits.
Arbeit
We'd like to host people in exchange of:
1. painting murals (experience required) - length of the stay depending on your abilities
2. general maintenance around the hostel and garden - 1 week
3. building a small (and basic) house (experience required) - 2 weeks at least
4. website creation (experience required) - 2 weeks at least
5. taking care of dogs and cleaning dogs' area (animal love required) - 1 month at least
The help in these activities is required depending on the period of the year so, please, ask for availability.

Unterkunft
We'll offer you a bed in a dormitory with curtains, lockers and air conditioning (we also have double beds in the dorm).
If there is an empty double room with air con and private bathroom, it's fine to use it.
We provide breakfast.
Other facilities depending on the kind/amount of job (we'll talk about it).
Our kitchen is always open for you to prepare your own meals.

Everything on the island is cheap. You can enjoy a fabulous snorkelling trip through corals discovering small white sanded islands and meet locals and tourists around the village. It is possible to discover the island only by motorbike.
