Hello!

My name is Noora and I´m from Finland but I am traveling long term finding places to call home. My passion in life is to help others and create meaningful experiences wherever I go. I value healthy lifestyle, generosity of heart and curiosity to all things new. Learning form experiences and encounters with different people is very important to me.
I practice yoga and meditation daily and get excited about arts, music and all things creative.
I am a social worker by profession so I am used to working with people of all backgrounds and age groups. I love to give guidance to people in need and learn from every encounter.

I can teach English and Finnish. I have worked in a school in New York as a facilitator teaching kids between age 4-8 year old. In Finland I've worked in elementary schools teaching different subjects including English, Finnish and Swedish. I would love to learn more Italian and Swedish and where ever I travel I want to learn at least few sentences of those countries language.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am a social worker/teacher and have many years of knowledge and experience in mental health, learning disabilities, overall health and crisis work. I am good at managing projects, creating content (pictures, videos, social media), teaching, painting and drawing. I have studied 200 YTT yoga teacher training in hatha yoga and 50 hours sound healing training. I can facilitate guided meditations and teach yoga. I have also worked as a woodwork teacher so I have some skills in building and creating things from wood. I have a degree in make up artistry as well so I can do creative things with make up and hair. I love cooking and I can say with confidence that I am quite a good cook. I know about nutrition and I am highly interested in learning new ways to promote healthy lifestyle and help others to live balanced and fulfilling life. My passion is to make this world a better place one encounter at a time.
I have excellent social skills and I am very adaptable and resilient in new surroundings. I can also teach English.

I am an easy going, utterly curious and creative person. I love to learn new skills and I highly value meeting people and creating meaningful experiences together.

I have worked many years as a social worker on mental health and crisis work specializing in youth work. I've also worked as a teacher and developed educational material for an organization.
I have also a degree in make-up artistry and I love to paint. Besides social work I have worked in international markets, thought woodwork to kids, wrote a blog about beer, painted murals, performed in a choir and collected many other skills and experiences here and there. I know a lot of card games and board games and am always up for a good game night! I also like to sing and I can play some instruments a bit, but performing in front of others makes me nervous.
