  Namaste! I am a age of 40. I have finished my education up to master's degree in social science and children psychology and Nepali culture in Post graduate form Tribhuwan University. My Name is Niranjan Shrestha. I have one son who study in class 12 and daughter study is class five in my school. I live in Sitapaila ,Kathmandu,Nepal. It is just near to Swoyambhu Nath or monkey temple. (Buddhist Temple) which is under register in World Heritage and Thamel area. There is free yoga classes every morning nearby school. Tribhuvan International Airport is an international airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, located in the Kathmandu Valley about 5 kilometers from my school. MY school was established in 2000 A. D in Sitapaila, Kathmandu, Nepal with 450 students and 35 staff members. This is my Family School. My whole family are engaged in school. I am a managing director of school. My father and mother are founder chairman and cafeteria in-charge of school. My sister and wife are principal and accountant of the school. Initially, classes from Nursery to grade III were offered. We are a residential school that teaches students from Nursery age 3 up to class 10 age 17.our goal is to get Nepali students to be analytical and independent thinkers, who are aware of both the country and present situation and its potential. We have residential e residential students who live in a homely environment just next to the main complex of the school. To make learning meaningful and relevant, we offer the students also extracurricular subjects such as dancing, music and arts. Also, we plan a lot of excursions with our students such as showing them museums and natural sites.
  We motivate our students to be lifelong learners on the basis of their individual capacity. Therefore, we are developing confident and creative individuals who are committed to justice and to promote all round development for the country as well as the society, in order to achieve the best progress for everyone.
  The school has normal infrastructure supported by state-of-the-art facilities. Now, we are constructing earthquake proof new school building It, has academic buildings with spacious classrooms, hostel buildings, administrative offices, a cafeteria and spacious playing grounds for games and sports such as basketball, and Karate,table teniss(pingpong), futsal.
  . Children are already learning at birth, and they develop and learn at a rapid. A Foundation for Professional Knowledge and Competencies. attention in order to concentrate and stay engaged long enough to learn new ideas and skills. shared activities with educators and peers' potent opportunities for cognitive growth. you can teach to students. we can also provide normal accommodation as a simple way to guest in our school.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Nepal was declared a secular country by the Parliament on 18th May 2006. Religions practiced in Nepal are: Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Jainism, Sikhism, Bon, ancestor and animism. The majority of Nepalis are either Hindus or Buddhists and these two religions have co-existed in harmony through centuries. Buddha is widely worshiped by both Buddhists and Hindus of Nepal. . you will be able to experience and learn the unique and beautiful Nepalese culture through interactions with the teachers and the children, and also be part of our family and come with us to local weekend activities.We have a yearly Calendar of school We organized different cultural Program Like Cultural Dance, Cultural dress competition and Music. We celebrate different Nepali festivals in School like Holi (colors of festival), Sivaratri ,Buddha Jayanti , Teej , Krishna astatmi, Dashai,Tihar.etc .Volunteers also have great freedom to choose to which classes they want to teach (we have classes 1 to 10) and what they want to teach to the students, and this would help to foster greater cultural exchanges between the volunteers and the locals. As we are a mid-range school, you will also be exposed to a wide range of abilities in our students, and this would enable you to see things from a more local perspective.

  Arbeit

  Volunteers should have a good command of the English language for that is the primary area of need that we require. We are also looking for young, outgoing, vibrant and enthusiastic volunteers to help us out. However, if your first language is something other than English (e.g. Italian, Mandarin etc), we also welcome you to join us for a few weeks of cultural immersion and to share your experiences with our earnest students. In addition, some ways you could help us:
  -you can help us like in these sectors :art and craft, computing, Dancing, Singing, Basketball, Music, Drawing, Karate e tc)
  - You can help drawing nice paintings on the walls of the school
  - You can help by teaching English to the kids (their level is not really good)
  - You can help us creating a website or blog for the school.
  - There is no hardware equipment in the school so if you have any old computer, Projector, laptop , Science lab , Roberts ,Drone and Camera and you can bring it here it would be perfect for the kids to acquaint them with computer science and technology
  - If you have any musical instrument you could show them it would be very useful for the kids to learn music from other cultures.
  - Don't Fell Hesitate to help students and school . If you have connection with different (international non governmental organization ) INGOs who help school and remote area children's for the development of school infrastructure and provide Scholarship to poor students of school are heartily welcome to them. An international organization focusing on children's rights and other issues related to children. One of their primary focus areas is learning and education, especially for children in emergencies and crises, children in extreme poverty, and children facing discrimination in education.
  More importantly, though, we are looking at developing our students' English language skills through communication and socialization, so we would really appreciate it if volunteers are able to sustain and strike conversations (in English) with our students.
  Class size is usually about 20 students in a class, with ages ranging from 2.5 years to 16 years old. Volunteers can choose to teach the things that they want (we do not restrict the materials or the content that is being taught).

  Unterkunft

  We arrange accommodation for our volunteers in the school .Volunteers will stay there just as a member of the family and experience the Nepalese way of living. Each volunteer will have their own separate room with basic facilities. some time you need to share room with other also.
  All the meals ( Nepali breakfast Tea and Biscuit at 7:00AM, lunch start at 9:15 AM (Daal = Bean soup ,Bhat = Rice and Curry =Tarakari and Achar= Pickle ), dinner start at 1:00 PM ( Dumpling, Noddle's ,Samosa, Paakouda etc according to schedule ) and tea/coffee are provided in Cafeteria according to demand. . We love cooking local food so you will get a taste of the authentically Nepali food.

  We are located in heart of Kathmandu, which is near Swoyambhu Nath (the monkey temple), one of the most famous temples in Kathmandu which is under registered in World Heritages Site. The airport is in eastern Kathmandu and we recommend taking a taxi from the airport to our house. We can send a driver to pick you up at the airport with a private vehicle for 20 US Dollars. Other volunteers have really enjoyed this option as the Kathmandu airport and streets can be busy and confusing. We are located center of Capital city of Kathmandu and this is only 15 Km from our International Airport. We will pick up you form airport. Our team is young and friendly, and everybody speaks English. We look forward to hosting you here.
