In addition to waters ports, we teach about ecology, meteorology, and caring for the environment. Our center in Playa de Limens is located on a precious beach in a small fishing community very close to the city of Vigo.

The peninsula where we are located has a very rich history: Celtics; Romans; pirates; vikings; etc. There are some nearby landmarks constructed by the Celtics and the Romans. There is also a huge fishing tradition and you can observe the Galician's artisanal fishing fleets every morning and evening. From the nearest town there is a 20 minute ferry that takes you to Vigo, Galicia's biggest city. You can also take the bus or train to visit Santiago de Compostela, one of Spain's most historic towns and the destination of the famous Camino de Santiago.
