  Come enjoy nature and animals and help us build at our small hobby farm in Hvalsø, 40 minutes by train from Copenhagen!
  
  WHO
  
  We are a small community of 6, ranging from 26-46 living on a big green lot of land, in the countryside with peacocks, chickens, sheeps, cats and a dog.
  
  WHEN
  
  Now? Or as soon as your are ready. Ideally the start of january
  
  FOR HOW LONG
  
  Up to 3 months.
  
  WHAT DO WE NEED?
  
  We need help building an extra building on one of our huts (we have two) in the garden.
  
  We will need someone to help 5 days a week for around 5 hours a day, in exchange for a food and a free stay in the hut that we are building on.
  
  We will help out with the building project on week nights and weekends and we will be the one overseeing the project and guiding you through it, so no building management experience needed, but it is important that you have experience with building and managing power tools.
  
  
  WHERE WILL YOU STAY ?
  
  The hut has a bed, a table and a chair and a fireplace that will be used to heat the hut.
  
  Inside the main house we have 3 bathrooms, one of which will be available to your use.
  
  WHAT WILL YOU EAT?
  
  We will provide you with a daily dinner meal from Meyers kitchen (famous Danish cook) - there is usually 3-4 different options to choose from, both vegan, vegetarian and meet dishes.
  
  One of us, Uffe the owner of the house, has a benefit from his job as a engineer, where he can order organic meals through the workplace's cafeteria partners, and you will be able to choose from different options and they will be sealed and put in the fridge for you to heat up and cook with a side of rice, pasta, lentils, bulgur or whatever you like.
  
  Some nights we will eat together if you want, and we will be the ones heating dinner for everyone and you are welcome to either eat with us or come pick up a hot plate and eat by yourself.
  
  BREAKFAST
  
  For breakfast we offer a make-it-yourself selection of eggs from the chickens, oats, cornflakes, milk, and some fresh fruits. We will not always be there in the mornings, as we all have different schedules, and therefore breakfast is available for you to make yourself in our shared kitchen. We all clean after ourselves, we have a dishwasher.
  
  LUNCH
  
  For lunch we will make sure we have some bread avaliable with different options of Toppings and fresh vegatables, for sandwich making. Ramen noodles are a stable in our house too.
  
  You are also welcome to buy your own stuff and make it in the kitchen
  
  Other than that the most important thing for us is that we find someone with building experience and someone who likes animals.
  
  Regarding sightseeing we would like to offer you a free trip to the old Danish amusement Tivoli with us.
  
  We also have great nature nearby and if you want to learn to rollerskate or do aireal sports you have come to the right place

  You will be part of a local Danish community, experiencing different sides of Danish culture, food and humor. You can get the best Copenhagen food recommendations and if your are into art and culture, we have the tips for you to get into most of our museums for free or almost free. You will get to add on to your building experience and get to know some cool people and animals. And maybe you will return someday and help us build one of our nexts projects.

  Arbeit

  We are currently halfway building tree hut no. 2 out of 3, and need help finishing hut 2 and starting on hut 3.
  
  Hut 3 will be build out of wood, and will have a second story and a wodden stair leading there. We will install windows and doors and isolation. If you want to stay for the painting work, that could be a possibility too.
  
  You will help us cut, saw, screw, drill, level and hammer stuff.
  
  We are not professionals, and do not expect you to be, but if you are you are more than welcome too.
  
  We do require you to have some kind of building or renovation experience and that you are comfortable using power tools

  Unterkunft

  Hut in the garden. Bed, table, chair and fireplace. We can get our hands on a dresser for you as well.
  
  The hut is heated by a fireplace, for which we provide the wood, but you will be the one keeping the fire. If you have never done this before, don't worry, we will teach you.
  
  Bathroom is in the main house and you have 24 hour access

  We live 5-10 minutes from the train, grocery shopping and pizza, bagel and other fastfood.
  
  The train takes you to Copenhagen in 40 minutes
  
  We have great nature, fields and lakes around and we might have a bike somewhere for you to borrow.
