  We grow, cows, art, tea, trees and children ++
  We are Jens(39) and Helene(34). We have a son Bjørn, he is from june 2025. Helenes parents also live on the farm but in their own house.
  
  The farm is 7.5 hectars. half is forests and the other half is year round grazing for the cows and goats and also for two horses. The horses are not ours, we get money from people having them here :) A stream runs right through the farm. Its very peaceful here and theres a great diversity in trees, plants and insects.
  
  Helene is a watercolor painter. We have a small gallery exhibiting her art. She sell original paintings and Jens (educated in photography) make prints of her art that we sell in the gallery and on markets. We both love the beautiful, the esthetics and are artist by nature loving to express ourselves with painting, drawing, music and just in making every day beautiful by staying true to our nature and dreams. Jens plays a lot of guitar and Helene plays a little too, and likes to sing.
  We have worked with sustainable farming for around five years on this farm. Helene has also taken a two year organic small scale farm education. Our three main themes in life right now is our son Bjørn, Art and Farming.
  
  We are trying to make the first true tea (camellia sinesis) plantation in Denmark! we have around 50 plants that have survived the first winter and might even be thriving a little. its not a main project, but quit interesting and definatly new and exciting :)
  
  We have many trees spaced out in severel small forests. We make firewood whenever a tree falls or in some other way has to be moved. But we would like to start to harvest the trees in a more "planned" way, taking out some to create more light and diversity. We are currently in the process of buying a sawmill so we can start making bords from these trees for projects on the farm and maintenance.
  
  Copenhagen is 1 hour away with public transport. Closest town is Fredensborg, 15 minutes by bike (well depending🤪)

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Learning about small scale farming/living. Can teach you painting, language, handmilking, keeping cows, fence making, firewood making, baking... all kinds of stuff you do on a farm.
  We used to travel a lot and would now love to welcome people from around the world to our little home so we can exchange culture, ideas and laughter! Would love to host a family so our children can benefit from eachother too :)

  Unterkunft

  we have a guest room shared kitchen and toilet.
  Vans/mobilehomes are very welcome! We have ourselves lived for three years in an old motorhome. :)

  Was noch ...

  There's a bus station one km. from us, from where you can get anywhere. there is 8 km to the train station and from there you can go directly to Copenhagen in half an hour. Hichhiking is also fairly easy here.
  Denmark is small, everyhing is relativly close by.
  We are also neighboors to a nice forest where you can take walks, and the beach is 8 km away. Nearest town, Fredensborg is 5 km away.
