  Beschreibung

  Hi, We are Karoline and Ado, a Dutch couple in our fifties, who recently moved to Veerst in southern Denmark.
  We live on a small farm with a few horses (Mystic and Danny), a dog (Goldy), and some cats (Loes and Willem).
  We enjoy a peaceful, rural setting close to the woods, yet we can easily reach major cities like Kolding, Esbjerg, Odense, Flensburg, or Aarhus whenever we want.
  The sea is nearby, too.
  You would have your own spacious bedroom and could use one of the cars or a bicycle.A bus stops right in front of the house.
  
  We are looking for people to help out in and around the house and to look after things occasionally when we are away.
  
  We practice Natural Horsemanship with the horses, and Goldy has just started agility training; if that appeals to you, you are welcome to get involved in those activities as well.
  We would love to meet new people, learn from them, and have a great time together.

  Denmark is known for its vibrant club and association culture.
  Various activities are organized in our village as well.
  
  We enjoy sharing our knowledge regarding languages, life in Denmark and Europe, cooking, animal care, and life experience.
  
  We love to hear all about other cultures, taste everyday dishes from your country, and learn about the daily lives of your family, community, and friends.

  Looking after the house when we go away for a short break now and then.

  We are Dutch and have lived in Denmark before. We moved back here a while ago.

  Unterkunft

  During your stay with us, we function as a family—whenever you wish.
  
  You have your own spacious room on the first floor.
  
  If there are no other guests, the entire upper floor is essentially at your disposal.
  
  The bathroom, kitchen, and living room are located on the ground floor.
  
  We generally eat together, though we naturally take into account what is possible and what you would prefer.
  
  We both work mostly from home, so we are usually around during the day.
  We have lunch and dinner together, and there is always enough food available for breakfast. Our Workawayer can expect to share at least three meals a day with us on five days a week, although they are of course welcome to join us for meals on the other days as well.
  We also enjoy learning about our Workawayer’s food traditions and habits and trying dishes from their home country. For us, sharing meals is a great way to exchange cultures and experiences.

  Was noch ...

  There are plenty of things to do in Denmark. Thanks to the excellent public transport system, many places are easily and quickly accessible.
  
  Visiting cities, forests, the coast, or the islands is all very convenient.
  
  We would appreciate it if you left the spaces in the same condition you would like to find them in.
  
  Smoking indoors and habitual excessive alcohol consumption are not appreciated.
  
  We greatly appreciate it if a regular day-night rhythm is maintained.
