  Of French origin, I am the founder of an association for street cats and dogs in Tunisia. The shelter is home to more than 200 little souls. The city of Mahdia, well known for its magnificent beaches and its marine cemetery, is located on the east coast, 40 minutes from Monastir. The refuge is located in Borj Arif Mahdia among olive trees and prickly pears. My house is 10 minutes from the refuge and 10 minutes from the sea.
  
  D'origine française, je suis la fondatrice d'une association pour les chats et chiens de la rue en Tunisie. Le refuge abrite plus de 200 petites âmes. La ville de Mahdia, très connue pour ses magnifiques plages et son cimetière marin se trouve sur la côte Est, à 40 minutes de Monastir. Le refuge se trouve à Borj Arif Mahdia au milieu des oliviers et des figuiers de Barbarie. Ma maison est à 10 minutes du refuge et à 10 minutes de la mer.

  Mahdia is a small, quiet town but very popular with tourists for its beautiful beach and its historical past. You will find many craft stores and souks there every Thursday and Friday. Galleries and museums.

  Arbeit

  I need help taking care of my house and the 50 or so cats and kittens who live with me. Take care of sick kittens, prepare meals for me and help a little at the shelter. The well-being of animals, their comfort and their health.
  
  J'ai besoin d'aide pour m'occuper de ma maison et de la cinquantaine de chats et chatons qui vivent avec moi. M'aider à prodiguer des soins aux chats malades, préparer des petits plats pour nous (vous et moi) et aider un peu au refuge. Au bien-être des animaux, à leur confort et leur santé.

  Unterkunft

  I can offer a large, well-furnished room of approximately 25m2 with a large adjoining terrace. With the added bonus of purr therapy 🐱 We will have meals at home or in a restaurant.
  
  Je peux offrir une grande chambre d'environ 25m2 bien meublée avec une grande terrasse attenante. Avec en bonus de la ronronthérapie 🐱 Nous prendrons les repas à la maison ou au restaurant.

  Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate male volunteers due to the law in Tunisia, which doesn't allow married women to have a male in their house without their husband present. If you are a male volunteer and still wish to help, you may consider arranging your own accommodation in Mahdia and joining us during the day. Malheureusement, nous ne pouvons pas accueillir de volontaires masculins en raison de la loi en Tunisie, qui n'autorise pas les femmes mariées à héberger un homme dans leur maison sans la présence de leur mari. Si vous êtes un volontaire masculin et que vous souhaitez toujours nous aider, vous pouvez envisager de trouver votre propre hébergement à Mahdia et de nous rejoindre pendant la journée.
