🌍 CARINTHIA 🇦🇹 – starting now, for 2 weeks up to 2 months
We are looking for volunteers to support our community living project at the beautiful Lake Faak, located at the crossroads of Austria, Italy, and Slovenia.
Our project “Live Together” is a place of encounter: here, people with and without migration or refugee experience share everyday life. Currently, we also serve as a refugee accommodation for families from Ukraine. At the moment, we are especially looking for helping hands – maybe yours? 💛
👉 Your possible tasks:
● Supporting in the large community kitchen 🍲
● Household help and cleaning 🧹
● Childcare 👧🧒
● Various everyday activities where flexibility is appreciated 🛠️

🌿 Sustainability is at the heart of our community:
We rescue and reuse food to reduce waste
We share resources and use secondhand items whenever possible
We live simply, by the motto “less is more” – far from consumerism and the throwaway society
🚫 Important to know:
Our community is a safe and conscious space. For this reason, we do not allow alcohol or mind-altering substances on the premises.
🏡 Your accommodation:
Volunteers stay in a separate volunteer area with several rooms, a shared kitchen, bathrooms, and toilets. This gives you both privacy and a chance to connect with the other volunteers.
🚆 Getting here:
We are easily reachable by public transport. The nearest train station is close by, making it convenient to arrive without a car.

What can we say...
Our experience with Daniella, Michelle and the boys exceeded all possible expectation. Daniella is a supermum/woman. Always getting things done and working really hard. She is easygoing, approachable, fun and honest. Michelle is super friendly, funny and a patient Italian teacher.
