Beschreibung
We’re a relaxed, creative family of four living on a large green property close to both a river and a surf beach. Our kids are now 8 and 10, full of energy and always up for a chat or an adventure.
We both work from home and love meeting people from different backgrounds—especially when it involves sharing food, stories, and a few laughs.
Our place is a bit of a work in progress. The previous owner let things get quite overgrown, so there’s always something on the go. Depending on the season, you might be helping with weeding, planting, landscaping, chopping wood, setting up the veggie garden, or general tidy-up jobs around the house and property.
In return, you’ll get a relaxed, welcoming environment with plenty to explore. The river is great for wandering and cooling off, the beach is close for surf and fresh air, and there are heaps of trails nearby for running or cycling.
If you enjoy being outdoors, getting stuck in, and being part of family life, you’ll fit right in here.

Some basic country living, great community around us in terms of good ‘ol kiwi hospitality, we run our own business too so we’re happy to share/encourage how we’ve done that, there’s a lots of good walks and tracks near by, plus a surf beach. 20min from wineries an 30min from Christchurch centre. I

We’re looking for people who enjoy being outside and being practical with their hands. There’s lots of gardening help needed - tidying up, pruning, planting, weeding, etc.

We have a small room with a single bed in our house. Shared bathroom. Or for couples we have a room with a double bed. Food is provided within reason - open invitation to breakfast/lunch/dinner with us and the kids.

So much to do. There is a local bus stop the bus comes in the morning and night only. More bus options 10min away on bike.
