WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR SUPPORT IN THE GARDEN!
MINIMUM 6 WEEKS
(You can develop your vegetarian and meat diet with fresh ingredients from the garden! Breakfast and lunch for 8-10 people who all live on the farm)
This is a place where people, animals and plants live together. Our resources, which are the basis for the livelihood of this community, come from organic farming and forestry as well as from our own livestock, fruit, herb and vegetable cultivation. We consume our organic products ourselves, so no products are sold.
The farm is only a 15-minute drive from Zurich and is also very easy to reach by public transport. So close and yet so far, on the Bemer Berg we enjoy the fresh country air and, when the weather is clear, the view of the Alps.
Our farm is a small family business (not a business) that is now run by Geronimo in the fourth generation. As a visionary and all-rounder, he runs the farm full of energy and warmth hand in hand with his partner Cynthia. We have both traveled a lot and worked and lived as workawayers. Now we are very happy to give back with our sustainable project. We are both cosmopolitan, sociable, love nature as well as music, yoga and being together. Four other adults currently live here.
In addition to us, there are five different types of farm animals living on the farm: cows, horses, goats, sheep and chickens. From them we get not only meat and eggs but also high-quality fertilizer. We also breed the special breed of American Morgan Horses with our horses and train them by ourselves to be as light as a feather. As a workawayer you don’t ask you to help with this.
We treat our animals with respect and keep them in accordance with their nature. Their species-appropriate feed comes from 100% organic farming.

Dies ist ein Ort, in dem Menschen, Tiere und Pflanzen zusammen leben. Unsere Ressourcen, die die Grundlagen für den Lebensunterhalt dieser Gemeinschaft sind, stammen aus der ökologischen Land-, und Forstwirtschaft sowie aus unserer eigenen Viehzucht, Obst-, Kräuter- und Gemüseanbaus. Unsere biologischen Produkte verzehren wir selbst, sodass keine Produkte verkauft werden.
Der Hof befindet sich nur 15 min Autofahrt von Zürich entfernt und ist auch mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr sehr gut erreichbar. So nah und doch so fern genießen wir auf dem Bemer Berg die frische Landluft und bei klarer Sicht die Aussicht auf die Alpen.
Unsere Farm ist ein kleiner Familienbetrieb (kein Business), der nun von Geronimo in der vierten Generation geführt wird. Als Visionär und Allrounder leitet er den Hof voller Energie und Warmherzigkeit Hand in Hand mit seiner Partnerin Cynthia. Wir beide sind viel gereist und haben als Workawayer gearbeitet und gelebt. Jetzt freuen wir uns sehr das mit unserem nachhaltigen Projekt zurückzugeben. Wir sind beide weltoffen, gesellig, lieben die Natur sowie Musik, Yoga und Beisammensein. Hier leben derzeit noch vier weitere Erwachsene.
Auf dem Hof leben neben uns fünf verschiedene Nutztierarten: Kühe, Pferde, Ziegen, Schafe und Hühner. Von ihnen erhalten wir ausser Fleisch und Eier vor allem auch hochwertigen Dünger. Außerdem züchten wir mit unseren Pferden die besondere Rasse der American Morgan Horses und bilden sie federleicht aus. Als Workaway wird das nicht deine Aufgabe sein. Wir begegnen unseren Tieren mit Respekt und halten sie wesenesgemäss. Ihre artgerechte Fütterung stammt aus 100% biologischem Anbau.

Like-minded people come together here, so that new networks and friendships can develop. We are all crazy, love and enjoy life! Laughter, partying and dancing are just as much a part of our everyday lives as responsibility towards our animals and plants. You can learn a lot about nature, garden and animals. We speak Swiss German, German and English.
Hier kommen gleichgesinnte Menschen zusammen, sodass neue Netzwerke und Freundschaften entstehen können. Wir sind alle ganz normal verückt, lieben und geniessen das Leben! Lachen, Feiern, Tanzen gehören genauso zu unserem Alltag, wie die Verantwortung gegenüber unseren Tieren und Pflanzen.
Du kannst viel über die Natur, Garten und Tiere erlernen.

Arbeit
Individual skills can be promoted on the farm by using their talents in a targeted manner. We would like support in the garden or in the greenhouse when sowing, planting, weeding or harvesting fruit and vegetables. You can also help us on the construction site of a barn. We build everything ourselves, so you can learn a lot here about how a house is made. We would also be happy if you help us feed or muck out the animals.
Auf dem Hof können individuelle Fähigkeiten gefördert werden, indem dessen Talente gezielt eingesetzt werden.
Wir wünschen uns Unterstützung im Garten oder im Gewächshaus beim Säen, Pflanzen, Jäten oder Ernten von Obst und Gemüse. Außerdem kannst du uns auf der Baustelle einer Scheune helfen. Wir bauen alles selbst, sodass du hier viel lernen kannst, wie ein Haus entsteht. Auch freuen wir uns, wenn du uns beim Füttern oder Misten der Tiere unterstützt.

Unterkunft
There are various accommodation options on our farm, which vary depending on the season. The appropriate accommodation will be selected in consultation with the farm owner. You have your own little empire. Other helpers also live here, so you can have a great time. In the laundry house there is a shower (warm 🌞), as well as a washing machine and toilets. The kitchen serves as a lounge and can also be used for cooking in the evenings and all day on weekends. From Monday to Friday it is reserved for the kitchen manager during the day, so that breakfast and lunch are taken care of. It is always freshly cooked with our own products. You can arrange your own dinner.
Auf unserem Hof gibt es diverse Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten, die je nach Saison variieren. Mit Absprache des Hofeigentümers wird die passende Unterkunft gewählt. Du hast dein eigenes kleines Reich. Hier leben auch andere Helfer, sodass ihr euch eine schöne Zeit machen könnt. Im Wäschehaus steht eine Dusche (warm 🌞), sowie eine Waschmaschine und Toiletten zur Verfügung.
Die Küche dient als Aufenthaltsraum und kann abends und ganztags am Wochenende auch zum kochen genutzt werden. Montag bis Freitag ist sie tagsüber für die Küchenmanagerin reserviert, sodass für Frühstück und Mittag gesorgt ist. Es wird stets frisch mit eigenen Produkten gekocht. Dein Abendesssen kannst du selbst gestalten.
